Anyone here watch Ancient Aliens? I think it's quite an interesting show.

According to Ancient alien theory, we may have been visited by extraterrestrials in the past. For unknown reasons, they have helped humans build huge monuments, advanced their weaponary, and possibly messed with our DNA to speed up our evolution process.

I think it's interesting how the prologue of ROTF plays into this. The Fallen came to Earth and built the Harvester. Other Primes put him down and hid the Harvester by building the Great pyramid of Giza over it. Given the complexitiy of moving such huge stone blocks and building these pyramids perfectly symetric - when just few hundred years ago we were sitting in caves - it goes well with the things suggested in that show. The aliens may have helped humans build those pyramids (and other huge monuments).

Now, before you go running for the torch and pitchforks and call me crazy - no I'm not saying I believe all this. I just think it's an interesting view from a different perspective and it's pretty interesting how writers incorporated this into the movies. Those that are not familiar with Ancient Aliens should check it out, some interesting stuff there.

I've tried to but my dad always changes the channel before we get the chance to watch more.

Anyway, the pyramids in ROTF weren't the only examples of ancient Transformers influencing human civilization. If you look at The Fallen's head, you'll see that his head crest resembles an Ancient Egyptian headdress, which I find very interesting.

Yeah I've seen that show, pretty cool! Its cool to think of the various influences the Transformers have had on Earth in the movie-verse (Pyramids, The Fallen influencing the Egyptian headdress, Apollo, etc.)

I watch the show, and although I, too disagree with most of the theories put forth, I also find it intriguing that there is a connection with ROTF. My personal opinion is that Cybertron is real, we were visited by Transformers in the past, and the films were made to cover all this up!

My mother is obsessed with that show! She actually believes in aliens and so do I. I mean we can't be the only beings in the universe, can we?

A reference to how we went from basically sitting in caves, hunting with stone-tipped spears, to building giant monuments - in relatively short time - that we would not be able to build even today with all the technology.

I watched it once. I have no idea if it's supposed to be serious or not.

It makes us as a species out to be morons who can't rub two sticks together without an instruction manual.

Sometimes, but you have to wonder how did those ancient people do things that we have trouble figuring out today...for example the Mayan calendar. No telescopes, satelites, etc. Yet they had a very good knowledge of the stars.

The complete lack of light polution/air pollution and MUCH better eyesight would have helped.
