Oh,he will live. Pretty sure Bay knows if he kills the immortal Bee, there will be hives upon hives of pissed off Bee fans out to buzz their discontent at him.:lol

There's no way Prime will kill Bee, you can't come back from that. This isn't the walking dead!

I really doubt Bay would give away something as emotionally traumatic as berserker Prime killing Bee. I think it's more or less of a marketing ruse, to create buzz about the movie. He hasn't given away any Bot deaths in trailers for the previous four films. Yes, we saw Ratchet being chased and shot at in the trailer for AOE, but we didn't see him get savagely slaughtered. That was Ratchet who, like all other Bots not named Bee or Prime, was basically a background character. This is Bumblebee, Bay's (and Hasbro's) yellow cash cow. The childlike Bot who Optimus said that he raised. They're not going to show him being killed off by evil Prime in the trailers or clips, though they make it seem like he is. The fact that they're making it seem that way, is creating debate and anticipation with Transformers fans. It's doing its job by keeping TLK in the limelight. That clip in the trailer and Bee's arm on the poster will be what draws people to the film. The fear of seeing their yellow hero fall by the hand of their beloved, now evil, Autobot leader.
This is why I truly believe that the Bumble Bot will survive. He may be badly injured, but he will survive.

I mean more the imagery of Prime actually killing Bee. That could stick in kids minds and fundamentally change their understanding of what Optimus Primeness is.

Imagine a big dog you know and see often, and one day he turns on you, gives you a little nip on the ass. No matter how much you liked him and could rationalise his actions, from that day on you'd be forever suspicious of him! :lol

The thing coming out of the water is most definitely the thing they were on when Bee attacks OP in the trailer. They were fighting in the center part of that ship.

You should feel more confident if anything.

The more the marketing tries to push the "Bumblebee will die" fear factor, the more it verifies that it's just misdirection. It would be a dumbass move to make the death of a popular character obvious in marketing. People wouldn't bother with the movie and the suspense wouldn't be there.

Okay, if this thread is also about the trailer ... here's what I've noticed on second viewing:

Optimus floating in space doesn't look dead to me, he looks to be only powered down, and covered in a thick layer of dust, maybe a little bit frozen over too. At first I assumed, he was charred, or burned . . .

Oh, and on this poster, Optimus' forearm cuffs are back to the knight armor look.

I know it could be misdirection to fool people into they'll kill Bumblebee off since he's too popular to be killed off. But then I remember Arkham Knight that was constantly advertised as "The Death of Batman" and sure enough that's what happened.

I'm kind of torn but I think I'm mostly leaning toward Bumblebee living. I don't think Hasbro wants to create a 2017 Bumblebee incident to go right along with their 1986 Optimus incident.

"In the closing years of the Great War, the Decepticons staged a daring raid against an orbital space station above their homeworld that was rumored to contain a powerful, dangerous energy source known as Dark Energon. After Megatron gained control of the facility and his new Sky Commander Starscream activated the Geosynchronous Energon Bridge, Dark Energon began flowing into the Decepticon ranks. Seeking to gain complete control over Cybertron, Megatron sought access to the Core of the planet itself; however, the way was blocked by the massive Omega Gate. Unable to pierce the defenses even with his newly-empowered forces, Megatron realized that he had to find the Omega Key to complete his plans."
    From TF Wiki

Space station looking thingy (with the big spike) - Check
    Dark Energon - Check
    Megatron's involvment - Check

Omega Keys could be the AllSpark (linking to the first Movie)
Marix of Leadership - Second Movie
    Excalibur (or another Arthurian artifact)?
Something else at the bottom of the Sea?

EDIT - So apparently a spark extractor was in the Iacon Vaults - Which is something that Lockdown had. After Lockdown was defeated, maybe they took that from him. Might not be relevant, but could be.

Could end up with Omega Supreme at some point.

People have been saying that Earth could be Unicron - I think it's more likely to be Primus (if anything)

Although, I'm not sure we'll get unicron yet... not with so many films in the works. Not unless they start introducing him now and he doesn't actually appear yet.... Unitcron is the ultimate big bad, so needs to be for the final film.

Somebody joked a while back that the movies not actually going to be called the last knight and it's all been a ruse....it's actually called 'unicron rising' well considering how this is looking I'd say we may possibly have witnessed the birth of unicron in dotm

Optimus had died before, so why can't B have a turn? I can see that happening.
