Looks like another major happening in the world this week....2 earthquakes, 1 hurricane, and now this....makes you wonder whats going to be next.....and no not trying to sound all biblical or anything, just saying

Earthquakes happen all the time. It's hurricane season. Entropy affects everything.

A train derailing is far from a hurricane or an earthquake. No "OMG what's going on in the world" sentiment needed.

One person went to the hospital with minor injuries. ONE. It's barely even news worthy.

 

What's going on in the world? Nothing unusual....................move on.

 

You are on the internet, you can look up how often these type of things occur. Then it won't shock you  .

Earthquakes and Hurricanes are natural disasters that happen all the time. The Amtrack derailing wasn't even that big of a deal and only one person went to the hospital... with MINOR injuries.

But seriously all this stuff is most likely coincidence (although I don't believe in those) But there has been a crap load of things happening in the world this past year. I think the planet is at its breaking point and starting to fight back. Heck even Toronto is getting Tornado warnings and TORONTO DOESN'T GET TORNADOES!!!!

No use worrying about the end of days. If it does come soon at least I will still be collecting til the end and thus making my tag line a total reality lol.

 

Actually Toronto does get Tornadoes. Just not many.

The point I was getting at is the number of larger natural disaster has been increasing lately.

Where is the evidence to suggest an increase in natural disasters? Don't forgot our ability to detect and report on distasters has improved tremendously over the last few decades. It's easy to see disaster everywhere when there's a 24-hour news machine reporting on them.

 

Blame shoddy, underfunded and thus poorly maintained BNSF trackwork, not prophetic days of catastrophe.

 

No they haven't. They're just being reported more.

 

I use Amtrak to go home, yesterday the Power went off and the train couldn't move. OH NOEZ

But the transferred us to a train that carries arcade machines. $$$
