So I did business with them for the first time.

    I pre-ordered Masterpiece Tigatron.

Shipping method wise I choose EMS.

Anybody have experience with them. If so what kind of time table delivery wise am I looking at?

Please and thanks for any contribution.

I've ordered from them in the past. Very reliable. EMS is one of the fastest shipping methods from Japan to the US (maybe a couple of days to a week), but what with all the weirdness going on, it may take multiple weeks.

I ordered MP Hound and MP Blackarachnia from them and I preordered Tigatron through them. It's been a very positive experience for me, and I've gotten the items two days after they ship (though obviously that could be different with the current state of things).

DHL so far seems to be the only way to get stuff out of Japan. Pricey, but yep still going as far as I know.

I know that you already bought it from AmiAmi, but in a way, Amazon Japan might be the cheaper routes if you can find what you are looking for there since most of their shipping only costs 1,600 yen (via DHL).

AmiAmi is great. Order from them pretty regularly.

And yeah...EMS...you're out of luck for awhile. Got a Gundam kit held up in Japan due to the pandemic.

EMS under normal circumstances takes 5-7 days. Given that this doesn't drop until October the current situation may or may not be a concern. Due to the unprecedented status it's far too early to tell.

    I cancelled my pre-order.

Decided to go with Amazon Japan.

    Cheaper and free shipping.

So for Amazon Japan, do you just make an account like regular Amazon and they tell you the shipping costs...when you pay for PreOrders do they only charge you once the items are sent out, or when you make the order?

Yep, make a new account over there and you can actually see the shipping cost when you look at the items. They only charge when they are about to ship the pre-order. Also the price you see in Yen shows the tax included so the price drop a bit when you add it to cart and start to check out.

I just orderred a piece from them (Dynamite Evolution Diapolon) and it arrived in just a few days. They are usually very fast but I wasnt expecting the speed this time and they totally came through. Highly recommended

in my experience EMS shipping has taken like 10 days at most pre covid-19
when i ordered from them around april my shipments took a little shy of a month to arrive, but if there aren't any delays it's relatively fast

They're generally the first place to sell out on hot items, but they've also got the quickest turnaround from order to delivery that I've personally experienced when importing figures.

Just don't cancel orders on them too often or they'll close your account (from what I've read, anyway).
