Good. I can't find a single person who likes archie. My mom is a teacher of 5th grade kids and they all said 'cook'.
My wife REALLY wants Cook to win. For some reason I think America is gonna pick the kid, I just have a feeling. I honestly feel like Cook would have more freedom if he comes in second.
yeah, DC might have way more freedom, but it'd still be nice for the winner not to be stereotypical pop or R&B...and regardless, my wife will buy DC first cd, and we won't touch DA's music at all...i've been over him since day one, and she has since about the third week, when he was still acting shy and surprised about how good he is...blah... on a side note, i hate these two hour reveals...i just want to know who wins...i'm gonna watch something else until the last 15 minutes cuz thats all i really care about..
and the ben stiller, jack black, RDJR thing is for some movie they have coming out...not sure how it actually made any sense, but that's what it is... and its okay...just odd that we're an hour behind everyone else...
Mike Myers made me want to shoot my TV. Ben Stiller, jack black, Robert Downey were funny. George Michael showed all the contestants what being a true superstar Legend is all about. Congrats to David Cook.
Well, I'm a bit scared to go anywhere near my hometown for awhile. Should be interesting to see what they do for David Cook. Yay! David Cook!
I actually found most of the 2 hour finale quite entertaining. Totally agree with Cata about George Michael. Definitely a great singer and performer; that was an awesome treat to see him perform. Im glad Cook won. I really couldnt see Archuleta be a "superstar" at all. I dont think he could handle it. He would just fall into obscurity like many other winners from the past. And yes, Carrie Underwood made my pants very tight.
LOL at Cook's new Back-up band, ZZ Top. Do they have a Greatest Hits compilation to promote, or were they just in the area? Graham Nash and Brooke White...amazing combination. Brooke might've been able to go further doing those kind of performances. Looking forward to a David Cook CD. America got it right this year.
Did Archie cry? I am not sure I believed he was truly a humble person, reports are a lot of it was coached. But I dunno. I found the whole show pretty entertaining. Most of the singing on the finale was better than the rest of the whole goddamn season.
