So... this is the 'twist', eh?
I will cop to jumping a couple times, tho.
I still think this is a pretty weak season.
I'm holding out hope that this second half of the season will be much better than that crappy first half. I thought the second half of this episode was actually pretty good.
The first half was such needless filler to pad out the runtime. The second half however, was actually really good. Even though it felt like Real World: Horror Edition.
So they do their video logs before getting slaughtered by the real ghosts.
And then after someone dies?
I wonder who the 1 survivor is?
Groovy. 'Nother Negan scene in the same week.
Someone help me out here: I can't decide if this ep. was any good or not.
Still on the fence about last week's ep.
NOT the best season.
No kidding. What the hell is the deal with these graphic skull bashing scenes?
At least these last two episodes have been exciting, especially when compared to the crappy first half of the season.
My favorite quote from this episode was, "Everyone knows the secret to sweet meat is tenderizing."
wow. this season sucks.
Yeah, I think I've had enough skulls being bashed into grounded meat for awhile. I'm really wondering how they'll possibly drag this out into the finale.
I'll give credit where credit is due... the "twist" thing that gives us 2 versions of the same character onscreen at the same time is clever and inventive.
But, the quality of acting, the whole cel phone video aspect of it, the absurdities of each persons actions, etc. are just dragging this show down.
Hard to call it horror when each person is so freakin annoying that I want them do bite it.
I'll be the odd one out and say I actually quite like this season, despite the obvious flaws. I found past seasons tried to cram too many disparate storylines into a single season, while this focusses on several stories around one phenomenon. Having said that, I don't get why everyone thinks Adina Porter's character is a killer when as actors, they (and especially Angela Bassett) portrayed her as a sympathetic character in the documentary portion of the series.
Don't get me wrong, I have been enjoying this season so far. However, I feel like the first have was a lot better than the second (the twist was pretty good though). I went from actually starting to care about the lives of all the characters, to now just wondering how they're all going to die. I mean hell, there isn't one likable character in the show now, aside from maybe the guy who played Matt.
I think you're the opposite of most people. I have zero care for the characters in the first half because of the format, but the "twist" made them a bit more caring.
The part with them carrying around these cell phones is so stupid. So you're telling me that if someone is trying to kill you you're going to want to record it? Dumb.
... anyone else still watching this? Just mindless carnage for shock value.
Only one more episode for this section of the season. Then the final episode.
I'm gonna see it thru and then play catch-up on Gotham.
I'm really hoping something epic comes out in the final 2 eps. Please Ryan Murphy, reward me for my viewership. Something.
This season has honestly felt so lost in its writing. like they are running low on ideas and it feels very fly by the seat of their pants. :/ not feeling it but 8 episodes in i gotta see how it ends. this just kinda reinforces my feelings that after asylum the plots got pretty weak.
I stoppped watching this show in..episode 3. What's the main twist? :S
I just can't stand the characters anymore, especially after the last episode.
Tonight's episode of AHS Roanoke was brought to you by:
We got our 1 survivor. They tried for f'd up... but this whole show has sucked too much to be so easily shocked. Next week is the last ep.
Ugh... next episode.
I'm not sure I wanna watch. But I will. Gotta follow thru.
After this season, will I want to watch next?
