Ok, so according to the galaxy map thing in the box, Dominus is basically the planet Master from jg1 continuity. And yet there isn't a single head, target, power, micro, brain, breast, action, or powered "Master" in this box.
And there are no Beasts in the Biosfera box.
And no Gobots in the Botropolis set.
So Paradron and Micro are the only Galactic Odyssey sets that fit their "theme"

I was willing to let the Clones set slide the way it tied in with the Decepticlones 2-pack, fair play it's a canonical cross-sell, okay - but only just, Hasbro!
I forget who brought it up, so apologies, but I agree with whoever said "Botropolis" should've been a "Goo #8739B" set, it's a neat way to imply what the cause of Sky Lynx being missing is, and need for search & rescue team.
I still raise my eyebrow at how Nightbeat-y P/CP's deco is in the Dominus set, and wonder about the BTS production shenanigans that lead to it.

Okay, mine finally shipped. *cancels inducing of scare status*

 

Got mine today, P/CP has the same shoulder misassembly as the original with the ball joints being upside down.

 

So I got mine in and... I was fiddling around with P/CP, transforming him from Punch into Counterpunch and when I flipped the black helmet Counterpunch's face plate was ripped off it's hinge, I did notice right out of the box that that the helmet flip was scarily tight. So just be warned of that possibility.

I glued it back on but now I have zero intention of transforming him ever again (haven't even seen car mode). He's now permanently Counterpunch for me.

Edit: his thigh swivels are also so damn tight that they come off the ball joint long before they show any signs of moving.

 

I got mine yesterday and had the exact opposite problem. Mine is so loose that if you set the figure down on a surface, the simple vibration will cause the visor to slide around, as there is almost no friction. Mine too though has the same hip joint swivel issue. For a while I thought it didn't even exist because of the amount of force required to turn it.

 

I'd say it somewhat fits because Punch was a main player in the Headmasters series. It is a stretch though.

Ok, I get paid on monday and can order the set again after having to cancel. Do I still have a shot at getting it?

 

Its painted, but its the Counterpunch (toy) face. It isn't practical to swap the TR head onto this body, the way the neck joint is molded its too thin to cut to make a TR adapter.
It looks better in person. That wasn't the point, anyway. I was making a joke with Seeaich. It really does look a lot like Nightbeat, even without a painted head.

 

So how does Barricade look with a headswap?

 

Gotcha fam. Not a super simple headswap fwiw, the ball peg and sculpt around his neck need some shaving for the head to fit but the look was worth it for me. I like each datsun character having their own unique head.

Real feet would've been nice (esp. for Punch side), but someone would've released a set a while ago if there was demand for it. I'm glad pseudo-feet got left behind in Prime Trilogy (outside of micromasters).

The only kits I see are for new blasters.

 

If anyone wants my punch I'm doing 20 plus shipping.
