I was doing the exact same thing, too epic! When Cowbar jumped into those signs and then Crankcase and Hatchet used them as a ramp and transformed in midair I just went "OMG THIS IS BADASS!"
The way the dreads sprint after the autobots just made it even more intense for me. Even better in 3D!
Battle is by far my fav of the DOTM score.  

 

I love the Highway chase. The combination of music and action just makes you feel the tension! I can remember when I was seeing it for the first time and I was hanging off my seat just thinking "Come on guys! Get 'em get 'em!!" In fact, I'm not even sure what to type next because words can't explain how much I adore this scene.

The only thing I wish would of been different (This isn't a legit gripe or anything, just me being a fan-girl trying to find anyway possible to find more screen time for her favorite 'bot) was that Sideswipe (Keep reading! It makes sense...) should of Transformed. Dude has wheel feet so I don't understand why (blah blah budget, rendering time I know, I know I'm just saying...) he didn't transform D: If anyone could of caught up to the Dreads fast it would of been him. (not to mention giant swords...) I'm not bitching or anything just kinda saying that "Hey it could of been ever cooler is blah blah blah!"

But yeah, follow up with the Mexican Standoff and Ohhhhmygooood <3

That Highway scene was my favorite moment from the whole movie. But I only had a couple of problems with it:

I kinda wanted to see a stealthforce Mirage.
And
It's kinda dissappointing how easily Hatchet goes.

 

Yeah...maybe he could have thrown one of his blades into hatchet, flipped into the air in front of him, and slowed down so that he cut him in half.....:]

 

That scene was pretty epic, only wish it was longer. Needed more sideswipe and Mirage and less of Sam and bumblebee...........

 

Gosh, I completely forgot is blades were detachable...

I still love the scene, though.

 

I was on the edge of my seat with an evil grin when that scene came on.

 

Actually,in the novel,Mirage is about as fast as him,if not as fast. I would have liked a short battle between Mirage,Sideswipe,Crankcase and Crowbar with some in battle banter between 'Rage and 'Swipe  

 

They double-team one the dreads in the comic.

Sideswipe: "Mirage, you with me?"

Mirage: "Sideswipe, there's nowhere else I'd rather be."

 

No,I think it's only in the novel,and I don't want them to KILL them,just hold them off until IH gets there

 

So Ironhide can kick their asses  

 

I've been WONDERING where that line was from. It's so badass! But I've read the comic,and I don't remember it being in there...

Cos' they just got schooled.  

 

The Dreads stole the Autobot's thunder in the Highway though, not in one second I paid attention to BB, Mirage or Sentinel: I was staring directly at The Dreads blowing shit up and wrecking cars.

Eventually, the Autobots regained a small share of their thunder in the Mexican Standoff scene.

But Damn, those Dreads kicked so much ass. and they were BARELY into the movie! Talk about one-scene Wonder.

 

That's because in the book Mirage has wheel-feet as well.
