Am I the only one who doesn't segregate my figures?

i grew up watching Beast Wars and i collect CHUG now but seeing how i haven't seen any of the old shows, all my figures are displayed together. The only separation is Good (Autobots, Maximals) and the Evil (Deception, Shattered Glass Autobots) So i was wondering if I was the odd man out. I like to think that all the dimensions(story lines) were running parallel and each world's Optimus and Megatron had one hand of the Matrix and pulled, breaking it into to and when it broke in all the dimensions it released a chain reaction splitting the dimensions and creating this new crossover dimension. This explains how there can be more then one Optimus, Bumblebee, etc (i usually dump them new names i.e. WFC Bumblebee is now known as Rumblebee). this also covers why i dont have to buy each and every figure that comes out, Bots are coming out of the jumbled mess of the old generations all the time (this is just when i get a new figure) and they can be from any dimensions (usually CHUG but I'll never leave a transformer at a thrift store/yard sale)
So i guess, what this thread is asking is if anyone else collects/displays like this. It also gave me a chance to throw out my storyline.

I keep my Live-Action Movie figures apart from my other figures, and I'll probably do the same to the Prime figures when they are released. Other than that all my other figures are all in one big group, which includes some Universe figures, two Energon, one Robots in Disguise (Landfill), and one Cybertron. Plus, I probably have some more, but I can't think what they are right now:eek: .

I can not cross lines. All my figures are displayed according to series or line. The closest I get to crossing lines is pairing my Alts with my MP's but to me they are they same line.

Oh! and I mix in 3rd party figures with my Classics line :p

I keep them in one big strange multi-dimensional war with Autobot zombies.

My Generation 1 stuff is displayed as such: 1 to 3 Series & 1 Faction per shelf. For example...

This shelf contains only Destrons from Masterforce & Victory
    [IMG]

This shelf contains only Destrons from Headmasters...

When I find myself with not enough figures from one series to fill a shelf, I'll slam em all together. This shelf has Cybertrons from Masterforce, Headmasters (The Targetroids), & Victory
    [IMG]

I would've tossed the Cybertron & Autobot Headmasters onto that shelf with them, but they sure as hell wouldn't fit...

There are also certain "teams" I like to build. Here's my purple & black teams:

I'm not even going to show my CHUG shelf. It's.... crowded. So very crowded...

I display only Classics. My childhood G1 toys are in a box.

i used to just put figures where i could fit them.
now, i have them a little more separated.
mainly, Classics, then movies, G1 and lastly, because i collect so few of the other lines, i group them together. (RiD, A/E/C, Machine Wars)
My MPs and Alts/BTs are placed around my TV.

I display by lines generally, but I know some people tend to do character-based groupings that cross series. Some of those look really good too.

Currently, I try to keep figures with similar aesthetics together. i.e. Classics cons, classics bots, A/E/C figures, Movieverse and a misc. shelf. Though I am OCD and I organize almost everything.

I display them by lines, but overlap the lines, like I have my BW and Animated figures in the same bar space.

I overlap everything except Animated - their aesthetic is too stylized, and besides, I have almost a complete set of TFA toys. They deserve their own shelf.

I see the same happening with Prime toys.

Everything just goes where there's a space. Next to me right now is a G1 figure, some Kabaya kits, BayFormers, TFA and PCC.
My TF displays change all the time so I can't be bothered with faffing about with putting series lines together in groups.

So weird/funny to see this thread now at this time of year.

The reason being I keep Beast Wars and Bay-Verse (the two franchises I still collect) seperate year round expect at every Halloween I set up a big multi-verse melee!!

I also have a Gens. Kup I use as a Bay-verse Kup b/c he looks so g-1, yet somehow modern and updated to Bay style.

So maybe, maybe.. I do cross them up all year.

I keep all of my figure lines seperated. Animated is with Animated, movie is with movie, G1 is with G1..... Even my Ironhide collection is separated - my G1 Ironhides have their own shelf not with my movieverse Ironhide collection, just next to it.

I don't really like to mix lines. I do mix good and evil sometimes though, to create battle scenes.

I don't have the space for line segregation. Dudes go where there's room.

    Separate them from smallest-biggest.

    Legions-scouts- Top
    Deluxes- higher Middle
    Voyagers- Lower Middle
    Ultras-Leaders- Bottom
