I see a lot of comments designed to villify people who gripe about the state of Deluxes- who then spend bank on 3rd Party expensive products.

I start paying attention to the ALTERNITY line, and think to myself "hey- this might be cool to have one of".

So I go to BBTS and see... holy cow! $100+... $40+...

Sorry folks- I see no difference between a $40 3P Brawn or Cosmos and Alternity Dai Atlas.

    Or a $100 Defender or a $100 Alternity Galvatron.

As far as I am concerned, all villification of people who buy 3rd Party for cost issues just went out the window.

it's because 3rd party are not official products.

They are considered to be in the class of high end KO

But this kind of subject has been beaten to death a thousand times over through the years.

The way i see it if people are psychotic enough to pay super high prices for unofficial products than that's their choice.

If Has/Tak wants to raise the prices of all their stuff to super high prices it's on them. *shrugs*

In the end there will always be those who buy both no matter how high the prices of either go.

I'm neutral across the board. The new deluxes are too expensive now and so are the 3rd party stuff. Picking and choosing is the wave of the future imo.

The main caveat with the most recent Alternity releases (Galvatron, Banzaitron, the upcoming Alternity GT releases) is that they are Toy Hobby Market exclusives. Being exclusives has apparently shot the price up far more than what more recent releases (Ultra Magnus last year, Dai Atlas & Goldbug) initially went for.

They're still expensive, but the non-Toy Hobby Market releases initially went for $50-60 or so, depending on where you got them from.
