    27 minutes? Isn't that a bit excessive?

Ouch. My webcam's stuck to the top of my computer so you either get my face or my beer belly!

I appreciate the extra views but I did make these videos for this news story at Seibertron.com: New Alternity Starscream and Skywarp Video and Review

Of course you're free to link the videos here but I'd be very grateful if one of the news staff could link to the original story and/or credit it to Seibertron.com.

    Great review, once again.

I'm probably gonna pass on the figure, mostly due to the loose waist panels.

Shame about the ball joints on the doors.

Still, he looks cool, I love the stark white and I even dig on the bug eyes. I don't necessarily like what's going on with the hood, roof, and trunk in robot mode... but I like the idea. Its a nice alternative, rather than having all those pieces accordion together and sit on the back as a backpack.

I love these two new molds. Amazing concepts. The only problems I have are with the ball joints on the doors being way too loose and falling off. Clear Nail Polish to the rescue.

Skywarp is so dark (and... Shockwave purple ??) that unless the room is brightly lit, you won't see any of his details.

I really love these re-imagined characters.

Thanks for the review! As Vampyr said, easy pass. IMHO, there isn't much to like with this figure. I like the Null Rays and the car mode wings, but that's about it.

    Questor's FTW

Great reviews...if i didn't already own them. these video's would have made me :D
count me in the group of people who love the vehicle mode design aesthetic.

also my Starscream and Skywarp "flight mode" is alot more straight looking.
(i just need to figure out how to get a display stand for them)

There are actually a few tentative locking points for the wings. The hood and trunk joints are actually on sliders. If you push them tightly towards the roof/windshield segment, then they'll click in place, and won't be able to bend. They're pretty easily loosened from that position, though.

And I've found that if you press in on the roof at the rotation point, it'll greatly tighten the joint, enough to effectively lock it into position.
