the chest, head and arms all seem to follow a set pattern but their legs seem to be unique. But this is not the first time the G2 gobots were the same as were the shoe guys. I say just roll with it I don't think we will see anymore after these two much like THS and other small projects so I'm just going to like them for what they are and enjoy owning them
I'm not really feeling the blue one...Looks a little like an after thought re-paint. If I end up getting one of these, I'm getting the silver one.
Neither version really grabs me. The blue just looks...wrong. The silver could be a winner with a few more pain apps to make his detailing pop.
I still think it should be other way around - Prime should be the Z and Megs should be the R35. I've always seen Megs as more powerful than Prime.
I love alternity prime, and may have to buy that, but this is just, ugh. I like the body design, colors and everything. This thing would be amazing if the head worked. No amount of extra paint will make that head good, it's just a bad sculpt. It's a real shame, too. I love the samurai motif they were going for.
It's NOT G1, so why are you all surprised...? Not all incarnation of Megatron need to have a Fusion Cannon! I actually like the aspect of Megatron getting in the face of his opponents, seeing the despair and fear in their faces as he carves into their bodies.
They just don't strike gold with me. Had they been the same size as Alternators/BT I would have grabbed them. Whats the point in the figures if they have nothing else to display with. Two leader class Alts that are midgets? You can keep them. Get back to 1:24 scale with the rest of the ALTs/BTs and you got yourselves a deal. Till then more money for smaller bots.... nawww...... Being that as it may.... can anyone tell me why they decided to change the scale? or if they're gonna keep going with the line?
I will admit, the colour pics moved me from "pass" to "consider". However, I am still leaning towards pass due to no firepower. Seriously, flip out blades? Come on... he has 4 blades now! How about 2 blades and a freaking ARM CANNON! If they hadn't shown us the concept art pic with the cannon, I wouldn't nearly be as angry, that was just a freaking tease "haha, look at what you aren't getting!"
