Hi. Always hated the robot mode of this mold. Luv the head. But this Is not prime. Touch up some paint. And unscrew the bumper. Place on the shoulders. And lock it with the clear tap.
It was clear to me that this toy was designed to be Trailbreaker. Just look at the molded detail on those tall shoulders. But then they decided to make it Optimus since we kept asking for one.
It's a love it/hate it mold and some people will simply never like it. But I thought this was one case where having the Takara version made an enormous difference. The added detail they pulled out with paint and chrome has actually made it one of my favorites. The US release really is hideous. Interesting take you've got on it. It definitely is an improvement. Nice work.
I'm planning on making my Alternator Nemesis Prime into a Human Alliance Galvatron. I might have to take these mods into consideration!
Mm, I saw that mod years ago and always liked it. Nice job. Could you post a few more (well-lit) pics? Have you considered doing the leg mod to him? It's well worth it.
