I was just wondering how much I could get for all the alternators starting from smokescreen up to the current ones?
Not much for most of them. I think only Swerve has any amazing over-sticker value, I've seen him around $80+ on ebay. Pretty much everything else was a shelfwarmer at some point so retail price is probably the best you'll get.
Loose or MISB? For MISB, the early ones (Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Silverstreak, and Hound) will probably fetch less than $20. Probably somewhere in the $15 range. Swerve will typically go for $50-70 MISB. I've been in the market for one myself and he seems to have cooled off a little bit from his $80+ levels a while ago. Meister might pull in $30 MISB if you sell soon. He's getting re-released in a couple of months. The rest of them go for retail or perhaps a small premium ($20-25) MISB. If they're loose, subtract about $10 each from those values.
Swerve was nasty to get. - no Wal-Mart distribution - seen mostly one case at a time at Target - rarely seen at TRU - only packed in 1 shipment case too. He was packed with 2 Grimlocks and 1 Swindle ... which were TOTAL shelf warmers at the time. Inorder for Target to restock, the Alternator shelf count had to be at 2 or less items. Swerve would always be picked out first, and the other 3 would collect dust. assuming all are MISB Smokescreen - $15 Sideswipe - $15 Silverstreak - $15 Hound - $25 Tracks (red box) - $25 Dead End - $30 Meister - $30 Swindle - 15 Grimlock - $30 Windcharger - $20 Battle Ravage - $20 Shockblast - $20 Wheeljack - $20 Decepticharge - $30 Swerve - $50 to $80 Prowl (red box) - $30 Prowl - $20* Tracks - $20* Skids - $20* Sunstreaker - $20* Rollbar - $20* Ricochet - $20* * = available now on store shelves
