Hey all, Back again, with a modified Optimus Prime from the Alternators line. I did this a few years back and found him again recently whilst rehoming my collection to a bigger wardrobe . Basically wasnt happy with the bonnet on the chest and made a new chest piece. Even now I am pretty chuffed how this guy looks. I personally think he has one of the best Optimus head sculpts. Repainted the whole truck in a matt metallic red, and added silver GW highlights. The chest folds out to allow transformation, with enough clearance (just) in truck mode. Will take some pics of truck mode when I get a moment. Hope you all like!
looks nice! I wish the og design did something like this but with the actual car grill or windsheild.
Sorry guys been a little preoccupied with the weird stuff going on in life... Vehicle mode pics. The new chest tucks up in the cavity under the front end. Took me a while to figure out how but got there.
