I know at least Swindle and Shockblast were, don't remember if there were any others. I think they all had the European "2in1" packaging with a photo of the toy instead of artwork, probably no slogan but not sure.

Thanks, I would guess there wouldn't be mottos/slogans... since it'd probably have to be multi-lingual, but wanted to check.

    Both written by Nevermore:

    Alternators - Transformers Wiki

    TFArchive - Transformers Toys

Swindle, Shockblast, [Jaguar] Ravage, Decepticharge, Silverstreak, Mirage, and Optimus Prime at least saw the alternative "toy photo", bubble packaging.

    Thanks! Those are awesome resources.

Though... I don't see any info on them about whether the European bubble/white boxes provided mottos/slogans for Alts that were never bubble/white-boxed in the US....?

Well in the TFWiki article, Nevermore writes, "European releases, on the other hand, were a lot more complicated (if not to say outright confusing)."

This link is also included in the same article: Multilingual packaging - Transformers Wiki

One just has to do some digging for the European package information. Personally (while I have some interest), I drew the line with the European variant packages, though.

I think my list from my last post is comprehensive regarding this issue though.

I won him on eBay last week for about $30 shipped. I'm very happy with the purchase!

Yes, thank you again for the links. I did look through them, read through them, did some digging, read Nevermore's quote you mentioned. I see photos of the sides of the packaging, never any shot of the bottom/back. And as before, I am under the impression and assuming the European bubble/white boxes do not have mottos/slogans/quotes. However, I do not see or cannot find any thing that confirms that.

I really don't mean to be argumentative, but as far as I can see, the list from your last post and this post provide no information about the specific issue I'm asking about: mottos/slogans/quotes on European Alternator packaging.

If anyone knows anything, it'd be very helpful. If you don't know anything about it, don't worry.

^^^ I kick myself every day for not buying that Mirage when he first went up for preorder!! "I'm never gonna spend that much for a Transformer," I told myself. Many MP's and 3rd party pieces later, that seemed pretty damn cheap back in the day. Why, why, why didn't I get it?! LOL
