I know that the age of Alternators has been and gone, but I've been shooting some of my customs ready to put on Ebay so I thought I'd put the pictures up on here as you haven't seen them yet.

-He started off as a Swindle, and I swapped his doors with those from an Alternator Rollbar and painted the hood black to keep the colour scheme in line with the G1 toy.

-Added various bits plus stickers and decals to turn him into a Paris-Dakar Rally type racing 4x4.

-The exposed engine parts on the hood are there so they are on the back of his head in bot mode, like the G1 toy.

-His legs/back section of the Jeep transform differently to mimic the engine at the back of the G1 toy, and his legs no longer rotate at the waist so that the panels I put under his rear section are now shin pads to mimic the legs of the G1 toy.

Very nicely done, the Inferno custom's great too. This & the Ford GT are the two best Alt/BT moulds, IMO, always come out look great.

And you're right, there was once a time when ALt/BT customs were a lot more common round here. I think Radicons was generally a very different forum too, all those years back (and, in fact, the main reason I signed up here). Good to see a couple more of these!

You sir, are an Alternators genius! I love this, your Inferno too.

I bought someone's aborted Alt Hoist project, based on Alt Optimus Prime, and kinda half-finished it. But yours are intricate and brilliant. More?

Cheers! I love the mazda too......what they did with the rear seats is amazing. Makes me wish they'd done something similar with the Impreza.

I started a Green Optimus-Hoist too. He had the same lightbar as I gave my Alt. Inferno, but using a yellow pencil sharpener. I meant to get some 'Hollywood Towing Co.' decals made but never got round to it.
As for any others, there are some on my DA page- CUSTOMS by F-for-feasant-design on deviantART

Thanks guys.....we've had Movie stuff, Animated stuff, Classics stuff, Prime stuff, but there's something about the Alternators and Binaltechs that I love.

It's nice to see an Alternators custom. They are what got me back into transformers and you've managed to make a very original character with this one.
