(FIRST THING) Yeah, yeah. It's sorta one of those 'BREAKDOWN DON'T DIE' threads, but hear me out.

What if instead of Breakdown dying and being cannibalized, it was a Vehicon? Since thousands of Vehicons are rusting in random locations, MECH could've gotten one, and built Silas into that. I think that could open up a long-running story of Silas trying to rise through the Decepticon ranks in his new body, trying to get to and please Megatron through season 2 and into season 3 when he gets exposed.

Just a random idea. What do you guys think?

 

Well, it would have been preferable. I still hate Silas, but having a generic become his robo-suit would've been better than killing off Breakdown so he could be the robo-suit.

 

while that makes sense in that there are tons of them lying about. There in lies the exact reasons they didn't choose them. They have proven to be weak units. Mech probably didn't want to put there leader into such a weak form after seeing how easy it was for the autobots to beat. Now what I would have liked to see would be Mech reclaiming Nemesis Prime and using it and some parts from said vehicons for the internals and using that for his body. We keep Breakdown, He gets a body. Everybody's happy

Opening up to where C.Y.L.A.S. remarks, "..exquisite.." in relation to his newfound Seibertronian pseudo-identity is the same.

Cut to the bridge of the Nemesis. Soundwave is working at a monitor as Breakdown's signal comes back online. He patches it up to the console.

Meg: (walking up to the monitor) "Could this be some sort of trick?"

KO: "The signal does appear corrupted.. Request a team to check it out."

Meg: Even if it IS truly His Signal it is His responsibility to extricate himself from whatever.."

KO: "Your forgiveness My Leige but, you will.. pardon me if I may sound a little biased in this particular instance.."

Meg: (Slightly patronizing tone) "Indeeed Knock-Out.."

Dreadwing: (continuing KO's train of thought) If I may, My Lord, you previously asked that I retrieve his remains. If that request is still open to be acted upon it would seem to make sense that his body should be retreived whether living or not and without hesitation regardless of within whatever circumstance he currently finds himself.."

Meg: (Studying Dreadwing) Very well, retreive him regardless of his current state. But this does Not include fighting a battle that He should have won to begin with.

OPENING CREDIT SEQUENCE

A few dozen yards outside MECH temporary HQ. A ground bridge opens up and Dreadwing and Knock-Out appear. The guard retreats into the hangar.

Guard: "CYLAS, we have company.."

No. 2: (turning from guard to face CYLAS) "They must have somehow detected the reactivation of your host unit and have come to investigate.."

CYLAS: "This would have happened at some point anyway." Addressing the room, "Gentlemen, as of this moment we have no idea how this latest advancement will be received by the rank and file of those outside parties that we wish to do business with. Therefore, in order that we may secure the future of our organization by ensuring our place at the larger table of affairs I will need to take immediate, drastic action to ensure the case for the utility of our organization is presented to the correct parties and receives a fair hearing.

Shot going around the room past the bodies of MECH operatives, listening intently.

CYLAS: "This will involve using the identity of this unity to gain access to the leadership of our future sponsors. Therefore, I will require your cooperation is 'selling' my supposed escape from MECH's clutches.."

MECH operatives begin to slowly back away and head for their motorized vehicles and head out towards their parked helicopter.

CYLAS: "..but I 'm confident in your full support. Gentlemen, on behalf of our organization I'd like to express my personal appreciation for all your efforts on our behalf.."

More MECH operatives turn nervously and walk out the door.

CYLAS: (beginning to charge his energon shoulder cannons) "..And to all those who might not make it, please understand that it wasn't personal.."

ALL remaining MECH operatives wildly scramble out the doors and flee towards their vehicles. Shots begin flying out the base door. CYLAS begins shooting up the control board to destroy all trace of MECH's work there.

Dreadwing and Knock Out see the fire and begin to attack the fleeing MECH vehicles.

Dreadwing: (Firing his blaster cannon) "Filthy Micron Scum!"

One vehicle runs off the road and crashes. As Dreadwing fires on the vehicle CYLAS crashes through the doors of the hangar in vehicle mode and honks as he passes Knock Out.

KO: (To the Nemesis) "We've secured the package, open a ground bridge." (turning and yelling) "Dreadwing"

Dreadwing takes a bomb out of his back and attaches it to the crashed vehicle. Then he half smiles as he kicks it towards the open doors of the hangar before turning and departing towards the ground bridge following CYLAS (still in vehicle mode) and Knock Out.

Back on the Nemesis the ground bridge closes outside of Knock Out's laboratory/infirmary. Dreadwing continues down the hall headed for the bridge to report.

KO: "My apologies for so abrupt a departure, I know how you do so love a good party.."

Knock Out walks over to the control panel and brings up Breakdown's profile.

KO: "These don't seem right at all. Can you tell me what they removed this time or did they take your voice box as well?"

Knock Out then walks over to CYLAS and moves down to check out his T-COG. An automobile alarm activates producing a loud shreiking wail and CYLAS' lights flash on and off with a slight yellow tinge characteristic of MECH energon. Dreadwing hearing the noise down the corridor turns and runs back towards the lab.

Dreadwing: "Breakdown, Have you Lost Your Mind?"

Knock Out steps back quicly and briefly wrist scans CYLAS-Down's vehicle mode cab section. He quickly turns to the console and patches in a COM link to the bridge.

KO: "Lord Megatron, there's something wrong wi.."

CYLAS' amplified voice booms out: "Lord Megatron, Please report to sick bay at once!"

Megatron: "'Sick Bay'?!"

Megatron turns and walks towards the corridor that leads to the laboratory.

Dreadwing arrives in the lab as CYLAS' alarm powers down. Knock Out backs up near him.

KO: "'What' are you?"

The music pauses..

CYLAS: "Just another soldier that prefers siding with the victors.."

TRANSFORM!

Because CYLAS has not yet gotten accustomed yet with his Seibertronian body his actions are still hesitant and slower than normal in robot form. This extends to his transformation also which takes place over the course of four plus seconds and offers a carefull study of the different aspects of his change into robot mode. One in particular stands out as most noteworthy. As the vehicle cab opend up and raises towards the chest area there can be seen a human form emerge. These are what now constitute Silas' human form minus his right leg. With their keen Seibertronian visual sense Knockout and Dreadwing watch in shock as the human form is raised and locked into place vertically amidst the machinery, his various lacerations clearly defined and not yet completely healed stand out in stark relief across is head and chest area.

Knockout's expression changes from surprise to one of sheer horror. A grim frown curls down the left corner of Dreadwings scowl betraying his disgust.

Finally the chest chamber closes and CYLAS-Down's head emerges, it's once vacant socket now revealing a piercing yellow point.

Dreadwing: "You're not a soldier, you're a Scavanger!"

KO: "The chest cavity seems to be infected with a parasitic growth requiring immediate surgery! And I didn't think it possible I could hate humans any more than I already do.. "

Silas could get pimp Vehicon body, be his own Batman with MECH resources as his utility belt. He is vengeance. He is the night.

 

That's actually a pretty cool idea. I would have liked to see how Silas would handle himself in a Vehicon-body as he tries to climb the lader.

 

That would have been preferable and made more sense.

 

Either way Silas is a jerk.

 

MECH should've taken Nemesis Prime with them, instead of abandoning it, and put Silas into it.

Actually, that should've been their plan all along, with the events of "Nemesis Prime" being a preliminary test to make sure Nemesis worked before they took the step to put Silas in him.

 

Ah I would have loved Breakdown not to die, wonder why; so would have liked your version.

He didn't. He said he liked the episode in a topic where a guy wants the episode to have gone differently. NO QUESTIONS ASKED he said, he is satisfied and he is replying to your topic to say that. Don't try to force yourself into a victim situation here.

I think that MECH may have found vehicons and used their scrap limbs to study. hey, it's a theory.

I'm feel you dude. I wish Breakdown didn't die and became Cylas' new body. But a Vehicon? Nah. MECH should've used Nemesis Prime for Cylas' new body, that would've been way better. Then we'd actually have a real Nemesis Prime.

 

Did anyone really expect Baldwin to stick around more then a season? Actors of his $$$ don't come cheap or with time to spare usually. Breaky was dead set to be dead by Season 2.
