I was transforming my Crosswise after I got him this afternoon, and I found a way to transform him so that he doesn't have the goofy kibble on the back. Basically, whe you're transforming him, pop off the extra "gun" things that the doors set on in vehicle mode. If you pop those off, you can leave the rear fenders in place. The hood still comes up to make the chest and everything is just the same, only without the extra stuff hanging off the back end. Now I need to figure out where to put these extra pieces so I don't loose them...
um, why don't you just put him into his attack mode, where the guns are swiveled around, and become waist guns? He looks more formidable, and doesn't have antenae then Andy
How exactly is it mutilation? We just don't like the way the instructions have you transform him. It's not like we're cutting off his legs and leaving him a paraplegic or anything.
... So, I should be able to sell my really beaten up G1 Prowl on Ebay for a fairly hefty price. I mean, it only looks different, having chipped paint, bent diecast parts, rusted screws, and so on, but still has all the parts, so it must be an alternate transformation!
Goddamn. It was just a different way to set the kibble on him. If you don't like it, don't do it. Fuck.
Sometimes you just have to use your hands and draw little pictures so that others understand what the heck you're trying to say... I do custom/alternate transformations on my TFs all the time... Sometimes you just don't know what the heck the designers where smoking when they mades these toys...
Wow, some hot hads around here. Me, I like min with th Clit Eastwood look of having thee guns at the waist.
i nver thought of swivelling them to his waist...i do kinda hate the kibblenbits...maybe ill just pop them off but that wears out the ball joints eventually doesnt it?
It would if you popped off the whole section. In the method I described, you just pop off the "tips" that the doors sit on in vehicle mode. They are not held on by a ball joint, so I think they should be ok with repeated removal.
