This, so much. I don't even care for Masterpiece but I just can't agree more.

Pretty neat design, it's cool to see at least.

As for the Pony stuff ... I'm not a fan of cross overs, I don't even dig the Joe cross over stuff.

Dash's cutie mark does make a decent Rainmaker logo.

If it had stayed for the final version I would have picked it up, but as is I own enough of that mold already.

As for MLP/Transformers crossovers. I think they'd be fine as long as they were fairly subtle, like this would have been. Anything more might be pushing it.

Are you kidding me? If they'd make a full-on Rainbow Dash painted Masterpiece Seeker, it might be the first Masterpiece I'd buy! I mean, I want Soundwave, but a Dash-seeker would shoot to number one on my priority list.

I like the colors better, I like the tampos better. Toxitron, G2, MLP, Tetrajet. Better cammo, better green, more metallic. I LOVE THIS!

Skywarp makes perfect sense. He most likely didn't sell that well in Japan (no reissue of TC either, you notice) but I can't prove that.

What I CAN prove was that Skywarp was an unmitigated flop in this country. He was heavily discounted here, down to $7 at my local Walmart. Why would they reissue an almost identical figure (yes, yes, retooled parts but it is almost identical) in the same colors, a mere three years after he was out the first time, when he didn't make any money the first time around?! Why would Hasbro throw money away like that? Again.

I know people are clamoring for a Skywarp, but it's not going to happen. Expecting it to is entitlement and setting yourself up for disappointment.

As for screamer, I am really not trying to be a dick, but there were plenty of him when he was released. Why didn't people get him before the MP explosion happened? (again, not trying to be insulting. Just curious)

Wow, he manages to look even worse than the final toy. Way, way too busy. I wouldn't be hiring them to deco anymore toys, that's for sure. Very amateur looking.

I was always under the impression that Skywarp flopped because Walmart ordered too many, not because it didn't sell well.

But Hasbro should see by the sales of Acid Storm (which I assume are doing well considering how quickly it's been selling out online) that there's room for Skywarp again. Was Thundercracker considered a flop for TRU/Hasbro?

There's still TCs at all my TRUs, so maybe. IDK.

I'd love it too, but when they did MP-03 in realistic colors, the reception was...less than kind (though, as it turned out, MP-03's colors really weren't all that real-life accurate).

Why would Hasbro see the sales of Skywarp or Acid Storm? Once they sell the stock to the retailer, their job is done.

I'm fairly certain there are plenty of people at Hasbro who care how well their products are selling at retail. They even employ reps to send to different retail stores across the U.S. just for the explicit purpose of checking up on their merchandise.

I never said they didn't care. Obviously current product sales numbers effect future orders but Walmart or TRU sales numbers are not visible to Hasbro.

    ^^This and..
    This.

The final Acid Storm deco is much much better than this. Boss Fight Studios were probably responsible for all the crap tampo's on Thundercracker too - it is similar. Time to cut these guys loose Hasbro.

Too many tampos. So glad we got the version we got, but I would've still liked a decal sheet so we could personalize him, especially considering how they went and gave him digital camo.
