how much sir?
Do you think it would be out in Singapore dpt stores as well?
You son of a baskerville
EDIT: Oh, they look great by the way.
ARG. whats the price converted to USD?
I hope this means that there's a shitload more rodimi (?) available from HTS this year. Nemesis Prime was shelfwarming there long after SDCC, wasnt he?
Laughs as KA's PM box explodes with requests...
'Too hot' Thats awesome.
Also, I agree with S7, KA's gonna have one full PM box.
And most likely be the most popular person on the board
Nice dude. KA, man you are so lucky on the new release front, you always have it before anyone else here. I'll get mine from BBTS in what, like Sept. lol.
Cool, hopefully this can drive down the prices on Ebay a bit like what happened after Nemesis Prime was released in SEA last year.
Great news man, frontpaged
Out of interest, is Menasor also out at retail over there?
I shouldn't have to PM KA... right?

It sure would be nice if Hasbro were to release the BotCon 07 exclusives at retail in Asia too. It sure would be nice to be able to afford those nice sets.
Im hoping to be able to get a Alt Rodimus from somebody who is going to SDCC, if Im unable to get it from SDCC, its really nice to know that imports should be able to keep the price around a reasonable sum.
No non-US auctions up on the bay yet, I'll be keeping an eye out now for sure though!
its roughly around USD$28.
its all about me bay-beeee /dick vitale
I really want one.
Come on non-US, non-PreSale auctions!
There's a huge difference between those two.
BotCon exclusives are done at the request of Fun Publications, who run BotCon. They ask Hasbro "how about this and that exclusive?", Hasbro approve it and then produce it in specific quantitites. Hasbro can't simply produce more and release them elsewhere, because I assume their contract with FP would not allow this.
Alternators Nemesis Prime and Rodimus are not "San Diego Comic-Con exclusives" in the sense that the organizers of SDCC say "Hasbro, can you give us a Nemesis Prime repaint of Alternators Optimus Prime?" Hasbro designed Nemesis Prime and Rodimus (and Titanium Menasor) with the intention to sell them via their own Hasbro Toy Shop storefront.
But simply offering them via HTS wouldn't work that well. We saw how long it took for Commemorative Astrotrain to sell despite being limited to a mere 3000 pieces.
So, they offer their HTS exclusives at SDCC, both to promote their online store in general, and in order to get SDCC attendants who are generally interested in Transformers, but wouldn't necessarily shop at the HTS website, to buy the toys as well.
And because those toys are Hasbro's doing and were offered to SDCC as exclusives, rather than being requested by the convention organizers as those specific toys, Hasbro are able to release them overseas.
So, in essence, SDCC Nemesis Prime, Rodimus and Menasor are more comparable to the LoC Ramjet toy offered as a freebie at BotCon 2005 (who, in turn, was available in the same fashion as LoC Skywarp at SDCC 2005) than to the BotCon boxsets.
Good news - thanks for the info KA.
great, that means he shouldn't be impossible to aquire. If HTS fails, there will at least be a supply on evilbay, where I got Nemesis Prime last year.
You Are Very Lucky......I Am Very Jealous...........
