I just finished painting the body of my Alt Ironhide this weekend. It is not completed yet as I will likely add some touchups to the feet/arms and such. I also added a pic of my Trailbreaker after I fitted him with shoulder pieces.
It amazes me that I never saw this mould in person and to see it done up like this is a bit sad for me. He looks great, the paint looks like that was the colour that takara painted him in the BT line
I will try to post some alt mode pics tomorrow. I will wait on Ironhide though as I like to let the paint dry for a week or two before I transform him.
this mold is perfect for iron-hide and ratchet. if binaltechs didn't end, i'm sure official repaints would have happened.
I complete Ratchet over a year ago but just got around to doing Ironhide. I had used the Ram truck mold for him and felt it was good enough but after finishing this I now know it wasn't, I like this one much more.
Added pics of alt mode for Ratchet and Trailbreaker. Ironhide will be added in a few weeks once paint has had a chance to dry a while.
Hehe, man, this is like old times responding to your posts I think the work is nice, but I'm not keen on the mold being Ratchet or Ironhide. That being said, again I'd like to say that the work here is slick . . . literally. Those paint apps are killer!
