Side Burn used to be the most frustrating TF for me, though I did figure him out. He was about the most complicated transformation scheme I'd tried, and I have to admit that I broke out the instructions. :banghead:

Alt Grimlock is worse. Getting him to bot mode wasn't too bad, but figuring out how to get those shoulder joints back in place took me half an hour, with instructions! Who in the world designed this thing? I finally did it, but Grimlock has certainly displaced Side Burn as most complicated transformation... and that's just for the arms! The legs are simple.

    Is it just me? :sly2:

My Grimlock is in Bot mode since the day I first transformed him. And so help me, he'll stay in bot mode till I have to change residence.

Nah, Alt Grimmy and Wheeljack are not that hard. Now Armada Sideswipe, THERE'S a frustrating Transformer. Should I chuck him in the garbage, or light him on fire and watch him melt? :huh Choices.

I remember getting BT Smokescreen and spending 45 minutes trying to get his legs just right in car mode. Grimlock was a walk in the park compared to that agony.

I spent an hour and a half last summer trying to get grimmy into car mode. I had three different threads from two different boards opened up trying to figure out how to transform him. I don't have that problem anymore :)

Smokescreen's legs were the biggest pain until I tried putting Grimlock back in car mode. Those arms, THOSE ARMS!

And getting Energon Dinobot just right isn't a walk in the park either.

Don't worry. My first reaction was like yours, after a few transformations you'll get use to it.

I don't have a problem transforming the Grimjack mold. The alt vets are kind of annoying, with those knees, and car front sections. Mostly I have trouble with Smokescreen's friggin' arms.

Grimlock and Wheeljack would pose me no problem if their f*cking doors and arms didn't fall off.

I'm always confounded by getting Alt. Grimmy's arms back into vehicle mode. Brilliant how they figured it out, but damn...Occum's Razor it is not.

I forgot where I read this, but the designer themselves actually recommends that you remove Grimlock's arms to do a easier transformation... (looking up source)

Yeah Grimmy's arms are a freaking pain in the ass. I was boxing mine up recently and had to take Grim out to look out so I could do Wheeljack.

The Mustangs are only hard to transform if you don't want any pieces coming off. I've just come to accept that parts will fall off. ;)
