    Hi everyone,

I finally got started on my next slew of customs and I thought I would give a sneak peak at this work in progress of an old favorite G1 character of mine......BUMBLEBEE! Still more work to do obviously, but I am working on a way for the doors to clip in magnetically in robot mode behind the shoulders and tucked in the back. Just did initial assembly tonight.

    Enjoy,

    -Gregg

Not so much a fan of magnets, but they worked really well for securing the towing rig for the Hoist I made........Just thought that again, they would work well for what I want to do. I use any magnets I can get my hands on, like fridge magnets, and then usually glue in a small, thin piece of metal for it to adhere to.

The Mazda mold give off a better Bumblebee feel than I would've expected.

That has real potential. Is it going to have a proper bumblebee head or a repainted Alt head? Any chance this might end up on eBay

I am going to take the face from ALT Smokescreen and part of the head and heavily modify the outer head and use milliputty over the top to give the more accurate Bumblebee look.

out of all the BB customs I've seen, this one looks the best so far. I'd have to say though that I never liked the all-black legs on BB, it looks a little monotonous. If I were doing this custom, I'd have done what Classics BB did and splash some color on the shins.
