So the inclusion of the Quintessons (let's not beat around the bush, we all saw that techno-organic hand) kind of rips up the first films plot completely. Unless the Allspark was made by them to, kind of like a self automated production line. Anyone else got any thoughts on this?
Most probably AllSpark was created by the....creators. Then they went through worlds to get the Transformium, so that the AllSpark can create a sentient workforce that can transform in to any shape.
Here's what I think; The creators created the Allspark to give life to their 'built' but sentient beings. Transformium, which comes from detonating a 'seed' is harvested to build Transformers. Transformium is a key element in the creation of a Transformer. Frenzy's body in TF1 came out of nowhere! so perhaps the Allspark contained 'Transformium' what else would they build a gigantic live giving cube out of?
In the G1 cartoon while the Quintessons created the Cybertronians it was Vector Sigma that gave Transformers life. We know that the Allspark gives life to machines question is whose machines did it give life to? The difference between KSI Transformers and real Transformers besides transformation schemes is that they lack Energon and Sparks. No Energon means these Transformium machine can't regenerate themselves like Frenzy or how Optimus transcans in AOE. The Creator gave the material where transformers are made from and probably a directed evolution as Allspark Mutants tend to be feral.
Optimus said he doesn't know where the Allspark came from in his narration of the first movie. just want to point that out as a reminder since no one does. The All-spark is actually a supernatural force bearing Power and Knowledge. It somehow knows where the Matrix and the Machine was located on earth while still located on Cybertron prior to the foundation of the Decepticons. RoTF bears various supernatural themes such as the Dead Ancestral Primes reviving Sam in his sleep in the Spiritual Realm. It's hard to imagine that the Quintessons built Optimus who was related to Cybertronian Gods. We need the next film to fill in these questions, I feel like the only guy who doesn't want to use G1 events as a reference for Bayformers Lore. EDIT The Allspark is merely a vessel. The Quintessons probably were not the creators of the Allspark but were rather entrepreneurs who built Transformium to contain the Properties.
My take in this while the Creators did not create the Allspark they did have a hand in the creation of the Matrix. Due its similar unstable molecular properties with Transformium. Matrix turned to dust and reformed again. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Jetfire said it wasn't designed to resurrect. Note "designed" meaning somebody created it.
I think the key to the whole plot is the metal first look at what they do with the seed, they use it on organic matter and transforms it into a metallic substance which appears to have biological properties especially when it is combined with a energy source so the transformers were probably created much like the traxs and galvatron was. Also it was probably for a similar reason as them too.
Everyone's aware that the Matrix was built, we always assumed it was the Seven Primes (Who don't ever Transform so far) who built it whom Jetfire was referring to, I'm open to suggestions though. I do agree that the Matrix has a similar process of mass and shape shifting to the artificial proto-forms, it was manually transformed by Dead Primes in a rip-off Nirvana afterlife, they also brought a Carbon Based Life Form back to life from a Cannon with Fusion Properties.
As everyone else stated, the Allspark is a device they created to make life for them. Remember, optimus stated 'We do not know where it came from' My hope is we get a scene in movie 5 where we see HUNDREDS of Allsparks and the Autobots realize that they aren't as special as they once thought.
My guess is that the All spark was created by the creators, it was probably created to automatically give life (create sparks) as a way of speeding up their process of creating transformers. Which up to a certain point had to be done manually. Only it became more powerful than they imagined. At some point they lost the matrix of leadership, and they lost control. Now that the number of transformers has dwindled and the all spark is gone they are back to retake power. I would think that with enough seeds a lifeless planet could be teraformed into a new Cybertron and a second allspark exists. Unicron's spark!
The Seed allowed them to build the transformers, and the Allspark let them breathe life into them. Kind of how KSI built their own transformers and used Megatron's head and Brains to get that extra boost. Plus Megatron's head was joined to a body that had an Allspark shard in it at some point, so who knows if that made his mind into a sort of pseudo Allspark.
This. And never mind a shard he had the whole thing shoved into his spark first!!! Plus if you notice the little doctor robot who shoves the shard into his chest doesn't say anything about restarting megatrons spark, he merely quotes that the shard turns into energon!! Its my belief megatron after what Sam did never had a spark as such or if he did it permeated his whole body
Makes sense that it's just some made power source seems what it is in the first movie. Spoilers isn't supposed to be in the title of threads in here it's in the rules.
It still hints that organic beings were able to convert themselves from living flesh into living metal and transplant their souls into the living metal transformer robots. Could explain the "female" transformers as well ?
"We know not where the cube came from" I believe is what was said in the first film or something like it so for all we know the creators could have something to do with the all spark, or transformers were raised in a sense to believe what they were told about the cube or what was passed on from generation to generation
