What if the "creators" created both of them? The allspark first, but the lost it and the seed is basically the second allspark?

Could be possible?

On the side not; what if the dinobots scanned the terraformed dinosaurs? Maybe that's why they look mutated??

I think they were both created by them, but the seeds terraform all the life and the allspark gives it life.
And thats an interesting theory about the dinobots, I wonder if thatd be scientifically accurate with the dinosaur periods.

 

I've would have liked them to go with the all spark being a weapon. They could of had lockdown elaborate a little with his dialogue to Optimus and said the primes lied to us. Could have opened things up a bit more.

 

The Seed doesn't create life. It creates metal.

 

I see it as they created the seed. To me the Allspark is a part of Primus so it is a mystical power that can not be explained.

 

The Seed creates the metal to craft the tools, and the Allspark is the battery that powers the tools.

I could see that making sense, if they rolled with it.

 

There were thousands of "seeds" all those ships in the opening of the movie were deploying "seeds" to turn organic life into thier metal resource. The TFs, their ships and probably structures used my the "Creators" and later the TFs themselves, is all made out of this metal. But the TFs were given life (on purpose or accidental?) we don't know, by the AllSpark. Which looks to possibly also be made from this metal.

 

Very interesting question! I think that the Allspark existed before Time (maybe it's the God Primus) but the mystic creators (Quintessons?) know or invented metal 'Transformium' and the Seeds to produce army of slaves for yourself. Once the Allspark and Transformium was merged (maybe spontaneously) - Transformers appeared

 

Still doesn't make sense, movies 1 and 2 showed the Allspark could make transformers out of any technology, no matter what it was made of. (And Tucci plainly says that Transformium was never used for industrial purposes before.)

They just plain don't care about continuity.

 

But the Allspark was able to make anything it touched into a Transformer off the bat... why did the Creators need the Transformium if the Allspark already made complete Transformers?

I guess that you could argue that the Transformers made by the Allspark were mindless beasts... but the ones the humans made out of pure Transformium were mindless drones, so I can't see you putting those things together to make a functioning sentient whole.

 

The seed just makes anything into Transormanuim metal. Which, the Creators used to make the Transformers, as stated by Prime himself. However, I don't think they explained how the Allspark came to be. It just did.

 

the answer is right there in their name: THE CREATORS. They wanted Transformium so they could build their own robots. Hence the line from Lockdown "you weren't born, you were BUILT."


The Allspark gives life (and yes, changes them to Transformers) to existing machines, but what if you don't have a machine handy? What if you need to build your own?

 

I wouldn't say it makes anything into Transformeum. It only turns organic mterial into Transformeum. They then mine it and leave only rock and desert behind.

It's stated that the seed creates transformium. The creators must've then taken the allspark to give the bots life.

 

The All Spark made everything into a Transformer.
Transformium/rare earth minerals is what they are made of and let's them transform but the All Spark already grants transformer abilities.

They need to clear this up because now it's messy.

 

yes but as prime said to galvatron..... they have no souls. the allspark makes the sparks/souls giving sentience to the transformers. Megatron possessing the Galvatron body with sentience and him infecting others is my guess because of his contact with the allspark how it repowered him.

I said in another thread that I believe that the Allspark will be revealed to be a creation of the 'creators', as even Optimus admits no one knows where it came from. I wish they would have had this little exchange to really hit that idea home:

Lockdown: You believe you were born? You were built... and your creators want you back!

Optimus: I was born. The Allspark-

Lockdown: And who do you think created your precious Allspark? (leans in close) It is nothing more than a tool... one of many. You think your precious Cybertron was special? it was merely one of many worlds... like mine. The only difference is that my people understand the wealth that can be gained from following orders.

Optimus: I would rather die that be a slave!

Lockdown: You act like you have a choice.

 

There is nothing to clear up here except to finally tell us who or what made the AllSpark. It does not matter if a TF is made if Transformeum or any type of metal. The AllSpark can give it life. The difference is Transformeum is what Cybertronain TFs were made out of (up until AOE that is). We see the AllSpark give life to things in movie 1 and the shard in movie 2 with the kitchen bots. As long as the machine has some form of metal or electronics in it, it can be turned into a TF by the AllSpark. The Transformeum seemed to be unstable and transform differently if there was no "Spark core" powered by the AllSpark to keep it stable. And earth machines that of course did not have a "Spark Core" would transform but be feral.

Optimus Prime and Galvatron are both made of "Transformeum" the only difference is Galvateon does not posses a "Spark Core".
