Really interesting how omega is the bridge between Wfc gimmick and Prime wars, I think he is the best titan for playability wise, and with all his different connection posts in multiple areas allows for some really neat play pattern with everything else.

Wish I could get more iron works for more base tomfoolery but I only got 1 and greasepit hopefully they go on sale soon buying multiples for 20 each is too much.

Subbing to this thread. Man, this is REALLY making me wanna pick up Siege Omega...and re-buy TR Trypticon. Already got Scorponok on the way, and a G1 Metroplex, so I’ll have a little something to contribute, but time will tell if I can make an actually decent setup.

edit: screw it, I preordered an Omega reissue. Lord knows what I’ll do to fund it...

I don’t own Metroplex anymore, and most of my Micromasters and Mini-cons are put up, but I cobbled this together just for fun.

With the addition of Airwave, my
Earthrise Decepticon base is (nearly) complete.

Question: What are some good non-transformers, non-Diaclone sets that I could use to make a decent base/city setup? I've bought a bunch of the Hexbug Nano Space playsets for that purpose, and I wanted to see if there were any other toylines which fit the bill.

I actually don't have any, but I have seen Micromachines being used.
And Hotwheels stuff should be fine too scale-wise (1:64-ish).
28mm miniatures too, either 3D-printed or boardgame sets

If for some reason Transformers is OK, Titans Return line/gimmick thrives on base-mode.

I saw the M.A.S.K. Boulder Hill playset for the first time the other day, if the scale's right I'd imagine that would be a good starting point

M.A.S.K. are generally 1:24 scale, so quite a bit too large IMHO. Glad to be wrong though :D

Just thought of placing a Metroplex with a Metroplex on Metroplex.

I’m supposed to be tidying up but when you get your hands on something which you haven’t played with for sometime, this is what happens. I can’t provide a group picture since they go back to their boxes after I took the pictures.
