Welcome to RADICONS! This is TFWQ2005.COM's section where members may post their customs projects, both in progress or finished. Having introduced that, let's cover a few important things before you get started here:

As stated, this is our forum for posting customization projects both for in progress and finished pieces. This immediately excludes making threads for intended ideas for projects that haven't yet been started, projects where no irreversible physical modification hasn't been attempted, simply making a thread to "generate interest" (which are virtually spam posts, anyways) and the like...well, hopefully you get the point.

The minimum requirement for posting here is that a project has to have some form of modification that cannot reverse the figure back to it's original state. Popping a head off of a ball joint would be an example of something that be reversed back to its original state, whereas a figure that's had a primer coat applied has a level of modification that prevents reversal to factory status.

Additionally, we have another forum for artists: Creative General Discussion. This forum is multi-functional as a "think tank" (a place reserved for you to post your ideas and hash 'em out with the help of others' discussion) as well as the designated place to discuss topics regarding customization. Do you have questions about a particular method? Is there an adhesive that you think works best? Need help with a technique you've seen done by someone else? All of these and more is what Creative General Discussion is reserved for. Basically, if it's not showcasing actual work done to customize a figure, it goes in this forum.

The TFW2005.COM board rule that applies here:

    8. No Website Advertising or Personal Ads
Any posts or threads solely to promote a website or store, Transformers related or not, will be removed. This includes making posts with the intended purpose of promoting your own web endeavors such as review sites. You may place a link in your signature. The more you contribute to threads, the more exposure your site will get. If you wish to share your reviews, please post the entire content in the review here (text, video, pics, etc) for the community to interact with. Links to the source can then be placed at the end of the content. Personal ads looking for roommates, dates or “vote for me in this contest” will also be removed.

Review all forum rules here: TFW2005 Rules

*Sales threads go in the following respective forums:

    • EBay auctions: EBay threads do NOT go in this forum. We already have MULTIPLE places for selling artwork on our board. These go in the Transformers On Ebay Forum. Any threads with Ebay links will be moved. Continuing to post Ebay threads in this forum after being informed to post in the correct forums will result in formal Warnings and then Infractions. Also, members have the option of using an eBay avatar to advertise their eBay auctions. As the rules state, signatures may be used as well.

    • Creative Sales: Due to demand, we expanded the Creative Forums to include sales in the Creative Marketplace.

We have two (2) distinctive places for this.
Commissioner Listing and Feedback is designated for those who actively take on commissions.
Parts for kitbashing or even completed customs can also be posted in The Junk Pit.

REVIEW THE STICKY THREAD FOR THOSE RULES. There is a specific set of rules designated for such. Failure to abide by those rules can result in your permanent ban from TFW2005.COM.

    • Junkion Exchange: The designated forum for all sales for our site since before we expanded the Creative Forums is The Junkion Exchange Items for Sale. This is the designated area for members to sale items in their possession only.

Feel free to use any of these areas for your artwork sales. ONLY use these areas for actual sales. Each of these areas have been created to help artists get their work into the hands of fans for whatever is agreed upon. Customs, Fan Art, and Creative General Discussion are showcase and discussion forums only.

    Re: Shapeways work

Customs is our "showcase" forum for artists to show off their physical work, either in progress or finished. We've got other subforums designated for artists to utilize here.

Threads with an artist soliciting their work in any way needs to go in the Commissioner Listing and Feedback forum; this forum is a listing and a place for the artist to offer his work.

Renders are 2D artwork at their default nature, so while the desired final output may be a Shapeways store for printing or a home 3D printer, they renders are art themselves and belong in the Fan Art forum.

Part of this process is also designated to help artists advertise themselves with a multiplicity of threads. If one only has a thread in Customs, that's only one thread. However, a keen artist would know that making multiple threads simply gives multiple options to advertise and show their work. For example, a render thread in Fan Art (1 thread) can be linked to a Customs thread (1 thread) when a Customs thread has physical samples. Then, an artist can create a listing in Commissioners Listing and Feedback (1 thread) and link back to the other two. That's a total of 3 threads an artist can have that spreads his free advertising space across multiple forums. Those links can them be placed in a signature for forum advertisement.

Thanks in advance for adherence to these rules as well as helping us keep things in their properly designated places!
