Transformers Prime Knockout and ROTF Chromia. Those are some really terribly done toys.

Age of Extinction Slog. God, what a poorly thought out mess.
I hated T30 Nightbeat but that was more a complete failure of QC than any intended design choice (it isn't that great though).

All the toys this kid next door when I was 5 or 6 let me played with for 2 minutes before taking them back saying "See how they're cool ? But they're mine haha."
Didn't last long before I didn't even care, but yeah for as short as it was, they were the worst.

Hum. I wonder if he grew up as a nice guy.

Universe Galvatron was the worst I've ever had. Couldn't convert him without parts falling off, wouldn't stand up, and transforming him was a headache by itself.

Generations Roadbuster was pretty bad. His wheels kept falling off, and his weapons wouldn't stay attached. Other than that, it was a mediocre figure.

Fall of Cybertron Bruticus needed a massive third party upgrade that replaced Onslaught just to look remotely like his video game counterpart. Onslaught was just terrible as a torso. Unfortunately, said upgrade turned the toy into a statue with one leg longer than the other.

Fortunately, I no longer own any of the above toys.

I loved those toys as a kid (well, didn't have Scavenger, but still), but dang I want an update.

(And pretty sure pretenders are far worse.)

PCC Double Clutch. The only toy I ever was enraged at enough at how pure shit it is - shit articulation, the transformation is almost physically impossible to not have parts coming off by design (or lacktherof - the clearances for the arms when going into torso mode simply aren't good enough), and on top of all that my figure even can have his head explode apart because there's no glue or anything beyond a thin peg.

The wall also was more damaged than the toy the one time I threw Clutch into it (wall was slightly scuffed, absolutely no damage whatsoever on the toy) - the ridiculousness of the situation ironically making me feel better through amusement.

It is a G1 released toy so yes.

Plus, that's actually more articulation and stability in that one pose with the G1 Jetfire than the original 2006 Classics Jetfire could do.

Yeah, Roadbuster is awesome. About the only problem I have with the figure is the lack of wrist swivel.

as an adult, i mostly hold G1 figures to a different standard.

but honestly, as an 80s kid it always bummed me out that My TFs and Star Wars guys couldn't move like my G.I. Joes (Preceptor and Jetfire were my favorite toys because they could pull off at least rudimentary posing). And when Armada went to nearly as bricky as G1 after everything from late G2 through BW through CR/RiD'01, it was like a slap in the face.(and that's without even getting into the proportions and sub-par quality of the sculpts) My kid got the same experience here recently with Hasbro and their idiotic modern 5 POA(pos?) Star Wars figures. he got a 5 POA stormtrooper and was all bummed: "i like the ones that bend"
