This is kind of upsetting! He deserved more scenes.

 

Well maybe, once he returns from wherever he's hiding, and whoever directs the next movie puts him back in, he'll get the characterization the other Bots got.

 

Sideswipe is still my favorite Autobot in the Series.

Swipe should have actually fought Sideways to the death in ROTF. It was wayyy too easy of a kill.

 

And to add insult to injury... Hasbro getting the rights to finally use a Lamborghini...

 

I'm willing to bet that using the Lambo for Lockdown was a Bay decision, not Hasbro.

Well that and it took Hasbro an eternity to even get the rights to *ever* use Lambo. Could still have been their call... and even part of the deal that let Hasbro use the vehicle for the Masterpiece Line...

 

Agreed. Would have loved to see an actual fight between those two before Swipe slices and dices him.

 

I recall reading an article awhile back, that had cut scenes with Sideswipe. One was suppose to be a scene with him and Jolt. I guess we were suppose to get to know them better from that scene.

 

Now I can die happy. Thank you, sir.

 

  The amount of screentime some of them get is laughable. If you are not going to give them a good amount of screentime then just don't put them in the movie and save them for another movie where they can actually be a character.

I believe Chevy asked Bay and Co. to put Jolt's alt mode in the film as a Transformer. And, well, they did lol. But since Chevy begged them or something, Bay I guess didn't think Jolt was relevant to the plot. (Except when he connected Jetfire with Optimus).

 

I heard about that, but they didn't want to make the film too long. So...instead of cutting Sam's Mum being stupid scenes or Alice scenes......he cut a scene which could have developed sideswipe's and jolt's character! -_-
