So that's Grimlock in the cover? Looked like Transmetal Megatron (Beast Wars) to me. *shrug*

Could be, but it does look an awful lot like Grimlock in "Maximum Dinobots."

The AHM #13 cover is a special Auto Assembly exclusive edition and has been designed to tie-in specifically with the convention, hence Grimlock on the cover (and the cameo appearance from Gregg Berger!) and the convention setting / Jurassic Park homage.

If you look closely, the AHM #13 main reference has been picked up by Nick in the background poster featuring Prime and Ironhide. :D

Far be it from me to criticize--since I can't draw for beans--but:

Foreground Megatron looks really stiff in his walking pose.

It's kind of weird to me how everyone in the Jurassic Park homage is not terrified of the fact that a giant-ass robot dinosaur is trouncing around (even the guy with the goatee has a "yeah whatever" expression).

    Still, both are very cool.
