As an aside, I still think it's weird that we have like one iteration of Lego Deadpool or Wolverine, while every single Lego DC set pretty much has to have Batman in it these days.

Anybody know what a kid Spawn would look like? Like Imagine if one of Billy K's victims had so much hate for the situation that they went to Hell and Mal was like this kid has potential, I'm making him a Hellspawn, but let him fester and grew thru Hell's tortures til he was say 15ish so he also had to deal with typical teen anguish and problems and then sent him back to earth as Hellspawn, like what would that look like? Sigh I can't shut off my custom mind, no matter how many customs I fall behind on

I don’t know about connecting the backstory to a child Spawn to Billy Kincaid. Something like the Robin King’s backstory would probably sit better with me. Like he was just a bad seed to begin with. The Robin King figure might even make an interesting base for a kid Spawn custom.

Technically, we got two LEGO Wolverines, but your point is well made.
LEGO Marvel doesn't really show any love to comic designs anymore - just MCU releases.

Since there's no MCU X-Men (yet), no new Wolverines.
And since Deadpool is an R-rated MCU(ish) hero, LEGO might be sidestepping the merchandising tie-in implications.

I have this one little section dedicated to my LEGO X-characters, it consists of:
    Blackbird (X-Jet)
    Sentinel
    Magneto
    Dead Pool
    Wolverine (Brown costume)
    Cyclops
    Storm
    Juggernaut (Chinese KO big-fig)

And it's been that same display since 2014. An entire generation of kids have come and grown up through LEGO in that time.
    Crazy.

Yep! As sick to death as we all are of Todd's Batmen and their multiple versions and variants, that crap will always sell.

I've reached the end of my Bat rope, though, and won't be buying any more Batmen unless he makes a Frank Miller Bats that looks like this:

At this point, I wouldn't even buy it even though TDKR is my favorite Batman story. Already have enough from Mezco, Mafex and previous DC lines.

I am still waiting for someone to make another Cassandra Cain Batgirl though.

I think the only ones I'd get is an updated vampire Batman and updated Black Lantern Batman.

Don't remember what story vampire Batman was from though. I read it a long time ago.

I read a Batman/Superman comic back in the mid-80s that had vampires in it. It freaked me out so much that my father actually burned it in effigy just so we could all go back to getting a good night's sleep.

The one I read was from the 90s. The phrase on the cover was like "Batman becomes the thing he hates most!".

Pretty sure this was it because I totally remember this exact art.

    :lol

It's got to be either Jae Lee or someone who copied his style. I can't read the signature though.

He was the most edgy one of them all.

That's very obviously Kelley Jones, iconic Batman artist of the 90s whose art looks nothing likes JAE Lee's

I might be a little twisted in the head but yeah I'm thinking of maybe doing a kid Spawn, that's the real main idea and I have a few prospect bodies in mind that I think will work

Nah Kelly Jones (and Simon Bisley) were doing that style before Jae Lee did it on his Marvel Comics Presents (Wolvie and Cyber) and Namor run, I'm pretty sure. At the very least I don't think they copied each other. It is kind of astonishing how Jae cleaned up his style though (I remember that first Image series of his was almost unreadable, but his Inhumans with Jenkins was amazing)

I still like the DC Direct figures based off of his (cleaner) designs.

Creative juices are flowing, think I'll do some painting tonight and finish up some customs after one custom I was struggling with came together, the goal is to paint 3 female figures.....and maybe 4 males, we'll see how it all goes

Might be a huuuuge longshot, but if anyone here happens upon a "Platinum Edition" All For One (normal non-transformed right arm and undamaged head) and doesn't want it themselves... I would greatly appreciate a pickup. Decided I want him but aftermarket is insane and have had no luck locally.

We still don't know which version is in the two pack, right? I'm hoping that's a "normal" version because I'm certainly not buying that other version again.

Wait there's a two-pack coming including an All For One? Must have missed that.
