Def looks like what Tony would give Batman if he designed a Killer Croc/Solomon Grundy/Bane Buster Armor. I could see the convo going..... "Hey Tony make me an armor, in black, I only deal with black and sometimes dark dark dark dark grey, sporadically I've used yellow and red on extreme occasions" - BW "Bruce did you say red and gold and extreme armor, say no more buddy" - TS "Tony wait....." - BW Tony comes back with the gold label armor "here you go Bruce, us playboy billionaires gotta stick together" -TS
I can’t think of an in-story reason for those colours, but he looks SUPER nice. Is it paint on top of plastic? Just wondering if trimming bits off him would ruin the look.
New Spawn for me, Samurai Spawn I can't wait to rip him apart lol I think this one at least I'm hoping, will turn out really well
And I just cancelled my Amazon "preorder" because Gamestop has a sale and the Aizawa figure was back down to the "normal" price because of the sale.
I find that he can hold the cheap, dollar store ninja accessories better then his own stuff. Cyberverse Arcee's booster thingies make great ice weapons. Could not resist, after seeing his silly, new, FRIENDSHIP move.
everything is covered in gold. looks more like the red is painted. it's hard to tell and I'm not about to perform experiments to find out. lol
Both the Blook Angel Space Marine (non gold label) and the Battle Sister are up for preorder on Amazon for non scalperish prices (for now). The placeholder date worries me a little though. The artists proof Sister and space marine are also available for shipping now.
Made some modifications on my White Knight Azbats and after doing so, I don’t think it’s worth it(for this figure in particular). Learning experience as I was trying to get a better ab and waist crunch out of it. Doesn’t work on figures constructed like this where the mid-torso is hollow and more like a sleeve above the waist. So I can see how the mods on other McFarlane figures for deeper diaphragm/waist bends wouldn’t work for this figure and those constructed like it(I think Jon Stewart Green Lantern might be like this). Maybe this is what @redrum2581 was talking about a while back? Azbats has functional thigh swivels hidden where the leg armor meets the upper legs. However the outer edges by way of design, block the swivel if the legs are up since they run into the waist.
So I played the McFarlane lottery and ordered a MHA All For One figure, and of course got the non chase. Having it in hand, I get what he was going for but that absolutely should've been the chase and the "normal" figure been the regular one (or have a detachable arm or something)
Yeah so with those you have to cut the sleeve in at the bend and somehow shrink wrap it the bottom half of the sleeve so that it fits under the top half of the cut, I haven't completely figured it out yet
