So what's his creation back story backstory this time? Fukushima earthquake and radiation?
the monster corpse (codenamed Vishnu) is not a giant centipede, if you look closely the arms are far too reptilian to be that of an insect
Or should I say:
GodZilla final wars roar - YouTube
Movie looks promising. I like the 98 version, but this looks more epic.
But then again, such a multitude of appendages along a long segmented form is more in line with a myriapod than a reptile. While the limbs themselves appear reptilian, the overall structure of the corpse favours that of a myriapod.
perhaps a combination of the two? a lizard/centipede hybrid?
So... How about that level of absolute destruction guys?
Could well be. The Big G himself emulates several different creatures (a theropod structure, huge spines like a stegosaur, amphibious qualities similar to a crocodile) so it stands to reason his opponents may have combined traits as well.
All dem bodies littering about dat train...
Mines of destruction, cities on fire, bodies everywhere around a trampled train, a kaiju's carcass burning, skyscrapers with holes in them...
I love the use of Robert Oppenheimer's voice for this teaser. It's so eerie and fitting.
MY BODY IS READY!
Downloaded it, just to be safe.
OMFG LEGENDARY YOU COULD'VE JUST RELEASED THIS TO THE PUBLIC
I still love you though, Legendary. BRING IT ON.
It gets a lot of hate, but I never did actively dislike the Emmerich Godzilla. There were some memorable set pieces and some great visual effects. Anyone who's honest will concede that there are far worse Godzilla movies.
This trailer, it's enough to make me forget all of those. This feels like the real deal. It makes 1998's, and all those other lesser Godzillas seem so much smaller in scope. If this is representative of the final product, we're in for something special. The tone is spot on.
... Now this THIS is how u make a Godzilla film folks. I'm guessing that The Teaser will run with Thor The Dark World or The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug.
Just watched it and cried sweet tears of joy
Oh my god that's amazing.
Damn yo, nice they finally put up the Comic Con 2012 trailer. Would have liked the 2013 one tho.
I'm interested on how the action for this is gonna be done, Godzilla seems to be so gargantuan I can't see him exactly running at any point without it looking ridiculous and any fight seems like it would level a city in minutes.
