Appropriate response from Tyrell Lannister...
That looks awesome!
Man, I don't know... I think it might be too much too soon. I think it should have just been Godzilla vs. Mothra.
Ghidorah look bad ass. But I think they should have slow burned this a little bit.
It’s so... blue.
Joking aside, this one feels a lot more sci-fi compared to the more grounded first movie.
Can we talk about how Rodan just casually flattened an entire fucking town just from flying over it? Screw the supposed small size; Rodan is about to be a bloody monster.
He did that in his first movie as well, great that they added this in
I also think they could have spaced it out into more movies, but the trailer went a long ways to assuage my concerns. This is sort of like Final Wars or Destroy All Monsters but without the Mind Control. Just Vera Farmiga unleashing as many monsters as she can, and chaos ensuing. Utter frigging chaos. Kong vs Godzilla is going to look kind of tame in comparison though.
I read some of the leaks and after seeing the trailer they seem to be right...there seems to be a certain monster that they are building up to appear in Kong vs Godzilla which could make it even more epic than this
YES. I’m so happy that they’re making Rody the powerhouse that he used to be. He could drag Godzilla around until the later films absolutely nerfed him.
My reaction is going to take awhile to process........okay done....HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! Can't wait to see it. 'nuff said.
The kaiju look magnificent and stupendous. I'll be in the theater for them alone.
The trailer really gives the movie a biblical feel to it. Which is very fitting.
Also, bioluminescent Mothra is a cool take on the character.
Phenomenal trailer. Love the soundtrack to it, surprisingly bright and ethereal rather than ominous as might be expected. Rodan and Mothra look quite exquisite, and sum up their shtick's nicely; Rodan is fiery and aggressive, not even noticing the destruction he causes, while Mothra gently interacts with a human. This is really damn awesome!
Ghidorah remaining shrouded in a neat touch, though we do glimpse him peeping in through the window; the monster is generally shown to be sadistic, able to take an interest in cruelty beyond mere monstrous whims. Terrifying!
Yep, if you need a monster that can top Ghidorah, that’s him.
Awesome trailer. It might be me but I do think the humans seem a little more interesting here.
