That's really very good. I totally would like to see him in Prime and have a toy like that.

Just two things I don't dig about this guy. First, what I DO like is that he's red...and that he's a Lamborghini Gallardo, sorta like how the Classics one is mostly Lamborghini Gallardo with some other car mixed in.

What I don't like is the chicken leg look. Goddamn it...it looks pretty bad and I don't understand **WHY** it has to be there. What's so wrong with humanoid legs? Even other movie bots had humanoid legs, so why not this Sideswipe? I understand they wanted to go for a mix of G1 and Movie, but with this it seems more like only the alt mode and colors are G1, while the bot is purely a movie bot. The artist could do a helluvalot better making it a good blend between the two.

Next...the swords. Fine, I can accept swords...but come on, at least give him pistols too or a carbine of some sort.

    So do I.

It was originally posted on June 16, Unicron.com and The Allspark discovered it on September 9. I can't find anything about it here on TFW, though, so it appears this is just old "news" that was never highlighted here.

I don't mind a dash of movie influence in my g1 guys, but those legs are terrible. The spatula arm flappers are alright, though.

its G1 and the movie mixed I guess I cant fault that idea but I hate the legs and I cant see that transformation working for a toy.

Not with the current toy budgeting: I've figured out how the arms would work (think RiD 2.0 vehicon with the tires rotating in to be on his back). Due to there being no backside I don't know where the roof is, but Presumably you'd fold the legs under and the arms back, leaving the roof unaccounted for.

Maybe as a toy it'd have the roof fold down for the head gimmick?

I'm more fussed about how large the legs are while clearly most of the cars shell is located on his arms and chest and you cant just cheat given how the wheels are used.

tho I agree the roof would need to go some place

Maybe the roof has two joints: on is attached to his rear and the legs (bumper folds up?) and the other reveals the head when pulled back.

The legs would presumably hold the car's grill as the stabilizers.

It's an interesting design. The legs are a little odd, but other than that it's not bad. I wonder how many of these we'll eventually see.

He looks utterly great. I still don't know why people hate the legs.

Please Hasbro. Toy of this guy now or next year.

I swear no matter how dull the character is of Sideswipe his design always rocks.
