Damn it's nice to see Aliens minus Predator. This game will be so awesome.

I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine. This is an M41A pulse rifle. Ten millimeter with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher.

Didn't think it was worth a new thread, but is anyone else gonna be up in this shizz when it comes out -

SEGA :: GAMES :: Aliens?: Infestation

Would have prefered 3DS with higher resolution graphics and all that, but can't say no Alien flavored Metroidvania.

I'm curious about it. It looked kinda clunky in the video, but it may just be the game's style. Like it's a slower shooter, while I was expecting Alien 3 (Like the old Genesis version).

I'm definitely going to be all over it.
There's a pretty neat writeup on 1up about it. Permanent death for marines, which you have a limited supply of, logical metroid-style lockouts (you need the power loader to clear rubble, etc...), and the animation from the reveal trailer looked fantastic. I'm pretty excited.

    Not sure if serious........

And yet was still a better Starship Troopers move than Starship Troopers itself. Although neither of them had the depth of Heinlein's novel, which is a wonderful book you should read :p

The sarcasm is obvious in that the movie Starship Troopers existed before the game Halo, so naturally, the book that it's loosely based on predates Halo by eons. Yes, I have read it. Hell, the Roughnecks show was more likened to the book than the movie.

But either way, I really give Aliens credit for the Space Marine movement. Yes, Troopers predates them all, but Aliens brought that look and style that a lot of games try to emulate.

Hahaha, I love that these folks think we're serious, Smasher.

One of the recent Digital EGM magazines has some great coverage of the game. Sounds like they are on the right track with this. Let's hope.

When it comes out Prowl, I'll be getting this one for PS3.

Call me mundane for this, but just because it's Colonial Marines doesn't mean that they fight xenomorphs all the time. I wanna quell some rebellions, or do some forced relation. :D
