Not to be insensitive, but how could you not have? He has not been in good health for years :(

Never been a huge raiders fan but Al sure has made his mark on the NFL to say the least, I am sure we will get more info as the weekend progresses.

    RIP Mr Davis

I am a HUGE life long Raiders fan. This is a double edged sword for me, I love the man and everything he did for the team in the good old days, but sadly he's been a detriment in the last decade. He has been in poor health for years and honestly should have stepped down. Now that point is moot, and in our sorrow (as Raiders fans) we can look forward to the future with renewed hope.

As a 49er fan, I've ALWAYS hated the Raiders; however, the guy was such an amazing leader during his time and I can respect him for that.

I hope the Raiders can put a smile on Mr. Davis again and make the playoffs this year. :2c:

RIP Al Davis. You were the legendary owner of Raiders back in the good old days, but unfortunately your moves as of late have been more of a hinderance than anything. Let's hope Raiders will finally be able to move to LA without you around.

I believe Davis would have been better off selling the team at least 10 years ago.

I remember the Super Bowl between Oakland and Tampa Bay and ESPN showed Davis being helped off the plane. That is when I assumed his health was declining.

I don't think he would have it any other way.
