I've been working on some aircraft profiles. This is a fictional combination of two real aircraft from the late 1930's/early 1940's, the Curtiss-Wright CW-21B fighter and YP-37 fighter prototype. The CW-21B had a radial engine; I took the inline engine from the YP-37 and grafted it onto the CW-21B fuselage (drew everything to scale in Autocad). The result probably would never work in real life, but it looks kind-of like some sort of overpowered racing aircraft, so I've colored it with homages to real-life racing color schemes.
