I really hope it's The Wasp that coined the name acronym for SHIELD, just as a little reference of her coining the Avenegers' name in the comics.
The whole Magneto/Rogue/Wanda/Mystique and so on is so complex I'm not sure I can ever remember it all without a refresher. Now should I go and watch that David Hasselhof Nick Fury TV movie again ? Here's a thought lets say you get SHIELD to have a second season - that second season could (partly) have pre-Wasp and Pre-Antman/Giantman as Shield agents or associates and then have the build up to they fractious but interesting relationship and perhaps even throw Cap in there a bit too - then you can throw them into the Avengers or a Ant man movie latter ; I suppose that's unlikely though but it would be an interesting thing to do - and if you picked unknowns to play the parts that would be a neat "project" I suspect they'd never do that though develop chracters on TV and then give them a Movie or a roll in a movie- but I'd like that a lot. (whoever it is). Thats' why I keep mentioning characters like Dazzler, Moon Knight or Cloak & Dagger whom you can do what you like with.
I saw the trailer. It looks stupid and fake, almost like it was fan made. The entire idea of making a SHIELD tv series was a stupid move by Marvel.
Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD Premiere Date Revealed - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
Maria hill in pilot!! Coulson thinks he's been recovering on an island But there is some secret he can never know about what happened Plot ties in with Iron Man 3
Pilot was good final scene is a nod to classic shield comics. Budget on effects is good. Everyone will want a Lola.
I suspect the pilots story takes place at the same time as Iron man 3 though I wasnt at comic con so I cant confirm this but I think its probably a reference to what Tony is up to and maybe a mention of the extremis ,theyll probably explain why shield cant go and help Tony as well I hope.
