Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Brett Dalton Talks Hive’s End & Future How the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 Finale Sets Up Season 4 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Producers Talk Season 3 Finale & Season 4 It may not happen as long Ike Perlmutter is still in charge of Marvel, as its been said that he and Kevin Feige are not in good terms (as Perlmutter is a cheapstake and limited Feige on what movies and stories he wanted to tell, for example he wanted RDJ out of the MCU just to avoid paying him and he's been the roadblock to female led movies), and he's still in charge of the TV shows alongside Jeph Loeb. as Disney only took Marvel Studios under their wing while they left the rest to Perlmutter, a fear many fans had when the spilt happened was that all of the MCU shows were going to became less and less connected to the movies due to their bad blood and spilt, and we are starting to see this. especially Daredevil S2, which had little to no references to the movies. its kinda like how Marvel started to remove FF from their marketing and then cancelling the FF books and giving less exposure to them, just because Perlmutter doesnt want to give the Fox Movie Division "free marketing" to the Fantastic Four, due to their bad blood to the FOX Movie Division, if rumors are correct on this
There are a lot of things I like about this season finale. It's not perfect, but the whole show has been on a rise of "meh"/frustrating to "hey, not bad."
That was a good moment. I have to say I'm glad I'm done with SHIELD. It's just gotten boring and tedious for me. some of the characters are alright but the plots are just dull and I've honestly stopped caring this season. Spoiler LMD is most likely what will happen.
No, she really wanted it. The downsides of addiction, unfortunately. All other things aside for a moment, I thought Chloe's performance was incredible. She really pushed herself this time and it was quite good. It's amazing, this show can bring out the best in it's characters and stars, but they just seem to drop the ball every now and then. It's odd.
Oh man, Hive looked great, Can't wait for the next season to fill in the blanks of those 6 months. As much as others don't prefer it, I do want HYDRA to return, with Kraken and Hive out of the way of orginaztion direction, I'd love to see a more rooted and grounded HYDRA back on a larger scale, to actually become a more publicly global threat. Still too bad Whitewall is dead...still would've like to see the Kraken armor.
I thought this seaso did a great job expanding on the effects of the sokovia accords to powered people The movie did it's just focusing on the effects on the avengers but it is all too logical that the drafters would put in stuff about other folk with abilities Earlier in the season the exchange between Daisy and Roz about why oversight was needed was brilliant
I'm pissed that like Lucy Lawless at the start of Season 2, Constance Zimmer (Strongarm) also succumbed to "Cliffjumper Syndrome" and was killed off, especially when she and Coulson were getting to like each other.
well Constance had to go either way, because she had commitments to another show Plus they needed a reason as to why Coulson would want Ward dead and killing someone close to Coulson is a reasonable way to do so.
I liked how they kept handing the talisman of death around. It was kinda funny in a dickish way. That moment at the en just before the explosion, kinda made you sympathise with Hive more than before. It really did look like he was not only OK with dying but really wanted it too. It worked nicely with all the moments he spoke as the people he consumed, he always had this sad uncomfortable look on his face like he was ashamed. But I bet he's not dead for real. They already explained at the beginning that he survived as a single parasite on the planet and ha to eat so many to regrow enough to be himself again. All it takes is to have a drop of his blood containing a single parasite in SHIELD HQ to revive him at a later time in the show/ franchise.
No it means she could take a 10 episode recurring role between shooting seasons of Unreal. And that her role was always going to end in tears.
I half expected the personalities inside Hive to start to fight back against him. Something Lash did caused it. At a critical point, Ward would force his way to the surface and cause Hive to pause, giving SHIELD the opportunity to kill Hive. Little bit of redemption for him.
