And now things just got worse for Fitz and Simmons.
I did not expect THAT from Coulson! But that doesn't mean it wasn't awesome!
Is there some way to protest to ABC that these dumbass special reports need to stop? They're not even that "special" given they project the leading canidates are going to increase their lead.
Man, I keep forgetting that HYDRA is still a thing in this show, considering everything going on with the Inhumans.
HYDRA's gone? Yeah, right.
HYDRA's one of those things that will NEVER die.
...well, that answers why the doc got let go.
if Steve Rogers dies at the end of Civil War, does that mean Coulson becomes the new Captain America?
Much better episode this time around - the idea Hive is actually basically a walking nicotine fix is both ingenious and kind of funny in the idea he makes his own fanclub out of inhumans.
The transhumanism thing admittedly came out of nowhere though - not even a question super powered cyborgs are going to be a thing in the future. Other than Dethlok if he ever comes back (man, Malek just got shafted in terms of getting an upgrade didn't he?)
Also, since they keep bringing up how somebody on the team is gonna die next episode, my bet is on
May - she's been marginalized the whole season and barely around beyond the stuff involving Lash. Coulson's not gonna die, it would really lose the audience if they fuck with Fitzsimmons AGAIN like they did last season, Daisy is basically the show's #2, and even though YoYo's necklace is in the exploding ship, seems like it would be a waste to burn her or metal guy so soon.
Nah, think that was already rumored to be filled by
Falcon. Or maybe Bucky?
I really enjoyed the episode. That's pretty much all I have to say.
Though I do wish we didn't go from "introducing" the concept of transhumanism to this in the same episode, it is what it is.
Well I finally caught on this show today so that I can actually see how the show evolves with the new movie release as it happens. Really curious to see where this goes.
With that said, I'm honestly bored. This Inhuman stuff is sleep inducing. I think the biggest problem is that I hate Grant and his actor, and I'm tired of him being on screen. Let's get a new villain already!! Oh, and now we have Not Gambit as a villain, joy.
It also doesn't help that they just completed the Hydra storyline OFF SCREEN!!! I know I wanted Hydra to be done with, but I wanted to actually see it happen so it felt like a payoff. This was just laziness.
The Fitz and Simmons make out scene was unneeded. This is ABC, not CW. I did like the stuff dealing with Coulson though, especially the plot convenient shield.
Cap has a SHIELD and now so to does the Director of SHIELD
You said everything that I'm thinking. I can't wait until this Hive storyline is over.
I really hope you didn't just post a real spoiler for the film in the Agent's of shield thread!!
Dude... Captain America doesn't die in Civil War. Chris Evans is signed on through Avengers 3 parts 1 and 2. His contract ends after those films, not before.
It's a spoiler because of the shield used, which was a S.H.I.E.L.D. joke. Nothing more, nothing less. He was hiding it in case people hadn't seen the episode yet.
You made it out to be more than it was, you drew attention to it.
Awesome episode. It gets ever better and better.
Yep, love that the Director of SHIELD now has his very own shield.
That was a nice little surprise.
Did not enjoy Simmons sticking that needle in his eye.... but enjoyed seeing that he was the baddie from Spartacus... 'ol Batiatus show up... aka John Hannah.
At least SHIELD and Carter have less make out scenes then ABC's Thursday night shows.
I don't know if it’s a spoiler, but it’s just a joke in response to a scene from last night's episode.
Except that Marvel can kill a character before their contract is up though.
He is also in the mummy movies. I didn’t know that until I looked it up.
Well, hopefully it’s not
Mack. They threatened to kill might like three times already.
That's what happens at the end of the graphic novel series, no word if that actually occurs in the film adaption.
Has he ever worn the SHIELD style jumpsuit? We know the one who dies is wearing it...and frankly that guy is just too big
And Henry Cavil is going to be in the Justice League movies, what's your point?
Makes sense for a Cap fanboy like Phil to have his own SHIELD.
I agree this arc is dull but I disagree Ward's actor is at all bad.
