Made the whole set of the dinobots that appeared in AOE. I painted each one just like my previous Leader grimlock. I went for more of a metal fossil color scheme.

scorn looks great! deffinitely my favorite dinobot of this line so far, are you gonna add rusty/oxidization effects or anything? if not then i'd imagine this is what the dinobots looked like before all the rust and stuff

They look really cool in that gold and silver theme, especially as a group.
What is the purple spot over Grimlock's leg? At first I thought just a little spot missed when painting but the figure was originally copper, silver, and black so I dunno.

While I like smoothness of the metallics, the figures as a whole seem unfinished in that they're lacking detail and the metal tones appear almost random.
With some small added details and maybe a hint of color, these would look fantastic.

BTW- big unpainted spot on Scorn's ankle.

this rocks. the original colors are pretty stupid.
really nice to see this improves their look. I was thinking to do something similar-ish. so its cool to see these color patterns suit them.
I do agree with Yaujta's comment, some detailing would make these look even better.

just wondering: did you just repaint them immediately or did you actually take off the original paint first?

There have been so many of these, and I dislike the moulds anyway, especially the heads, but you have done a fantastic job on these, and they look coordinated and great, leave them as they are, never mind the rust etc (which can admittedly look good in some cases).
    Nice job.
