They nailed the persistent flaws pretty well.

    Too long, weak plot.

But the compliments on the villain seems to eradicate another major flaw. Kudos on that.

"Ultimately, the Transformers take center stage in this one, and for some that will be a very good thing. "

All we need to know is right there

If IGN's score is mediocre, you can expect how real critics will destroy this.

Not that it would suprise me though, its an obviouse movie cash-in title that reuses almost everything High Moon created.

    I hope you're right, I really do.

I'd like to see disposable main villains become eradicated going forward. It is almost like there's a deli counter ticketing system.

Villain #4, would villain #4 please go to Earth and try to survive for 3 hours.

There's been at least five reviews prior to this one.

Seeing it tomorrow. Hoping its better then the last three but the reviews aren't exactly making that seem like its as much of an improvement as I would have liked. Characterisation of the Transformers is a good start though.

Check the title of this thread again.

Not that I expect people to be completely unbiased towards these films. I know I'm going to love this film, I absolutely enjoyed DOTM.

Sorry about that, for me IGN is gaming, not movies. Never read a movie critic on IGN before.

    But still:

    This wont change.

From the sound of things, Lockdown alone seems to be worth the ticket price.

    Very good in my book.
