Thanks brother. Thanks for being the first person to review this and not waste our time with an 8 minute video showing nothing of the transformation.

Firm, thorough and to the point.

At one point I was worried you'd bump Prime off the table!

    Thank you for the review!

Based on this...To me the figure is "OK", not the greatest. But because I am fan of the character He is an instant buy.

It is nice to see that the gun face (sniper mode) is part of the robot and that surprisingly when the same weapon is attached to weaponize the car it doesn't look out of place and all goofy like those those mechtech, what ever the fucks from DOTM. So that is nice.

I still think that the weapon should have been engineered to fold up or come apart to hide in the vehicle mode. Plus the weapon does look a bit big for the figure even in gun face.

Also I see there are 5mm ports right next to his hands...a hood could have been created to be placed there and stored elsewhere in car mode...lazy....

The transformation looks exactly like deluxe road buster's, except here the designers did a great job in folding up the car hood and roof. Over all its well detailed and I like how the more humanoid look of the character is kept as the main focus.

I have mentioned before on another thread, I really hope this character survives the film and thus the fandom for a bounty hunter grows into Boba Fett proportions. If so, maybe Hasbro might be motivated enough to give us a version that is more advanced like how they gave us Battle Blades bumble bee (still the best version of BB to this day). And advance redo would give us the hook and better engineering for gunface and a flip done visor! If it could happen for BB it could happen for Lockdown.

Again, so glad this review was done. Great job!!!!

    :lol  Me too!

Pretty decent looking figure... Whomever stated that, based on his promo photo, he looks like he'll transform like DOTM Roadbuster was pretty dead on about that!

p.s. What the hell was that running by in the background during the gun-on-car-mounting section??

Good review, but can't save the figure. They took a badass character and added kibble to his back and arms as well as a face only Jabba the Hut can love with corresponding results.

Thanks for the vid. Btw dude are you alright? You seems to be shaking on and off during the video.

I think I spot a squirrel in the background.

will i get this because i like the character? yes.
am i happy with it? not really.

he does look a little chunky which is due to the kibble which i understand but can not stand arms that have the door panel on them.

also gun head mode just looks silly to me, its just a gun covering his head which you can still clearly see.

would it have killed them to add a torso extension? he's so round and stumpy. they completely mixed up his and hound's proportions.

Thanks for the impressions ! I really like this Lockdown.

Sure, he isn't perfect, but his onscreen robotmode is such an incredibly humanized
shape, coming from his rather compact and geometrically shaped Aventador car mode -
this deluxe does a more than decent job at emulating that. It doesn't even really require
faux sections and it's not really shellformer-ish either.

The lack of the hook weapon ? 5mm peg add on should be really easy to custom create.

He looks cool, but he's not really what I call amazing. I don't know what it is, but it looks like he just can't pull off that same menacing aura his onscreen counterpart has. Of course, Gunface trumps all. Always.
