I'm still feeling conflicted about this figure. But thanks for the review! EDIT: After watching the review a few times, I must say I like him! I will anticipate getting him in the Autobots United 5 pack.
This Bumblebee has a lot going for it than what I thought... -Chest doesn't cheat, the front grill actually folds into the chest! -Built-in swivel arm blaster? Nice! -Manages to reduce kibble from previous BB figures by a lot -Whole new mold with completely different transformation -Facemask included All in all, it seems that the only thing this figure is lacking is in the paint job area.
Oh yeah...he is definitely going in my collection. I never thought I'd want another Bee but this one is so cool. Might be the only AOE figure I buy, until Hasbro gives us a proper Lockdown and a proper triple changing / car to flight mode Drift. Samus, great review and really nice pictures.
Actually like this a lot more than I thought I would. He'll need some black paint in a few spots, but overall decent.
fine hasbro, Ill buy another copy of this freaking character. Those arm cannons are a great gimmick, looks fun If stinger does indeed turn out to be a remold of this, Ill get it instead.

Thanks for the review! The lack of paint on the back of the car mode, as well as the hood sticking up behind his head are unfortunate things, but overall this looks like the first Bee in a long time that's worth getting due to finally having a different look and transformation. And thank the MATRIX that hasbro is finally incorporating weapon storage into most of these new figures! I can't tell you how much I hated the mechtech weapons just sitting like cartoonishly huge weapons right on the top of an otherwise nice-looking alt mode. Galvatron still has this problem, but overall this line has greatly improved in this regard. Also, I'm happy they tried to incorporate the battle mask, but it really just looks like Bee's face is scrunched. It would be much better if it went over his whole face. Maybe it would look better with some paint or panel lines so it doesn't just look like he's wearing a hat over his face?
After seeing how awesome the Reprolable sets were for the other figures, I'm sure they will have this figure upgraded in no time!
Are there any differences between the two pack and the single release? Also: there are as many deluxe Bumblebee molds as there are bad guys in the entire toy line.
