warden was asked at toy fair last year (after omega was fully revealed) who else he would like to do as a titan. the two he mentioned were scorponok and metroplex (t30 metroplex predates him being the senior design manager for transformers) so metroplex v2 is what we will likely get in part 3

I'd be happy with any of the following characters as Titan Class toys...

    Overlord
    Tidal Wave
    Stratosphere
    Astrotrain
Cyclonus. His G1 tech spec described him as a huge, emotionless warrior. Be cool to have a Cyclonus jet mode that Titans Return Galvatron could pilot.
    Blast Off
    Broadside
Flattop following the new trend of Ironworks turning into his base.
A new more G1 looking Metroplex.
    Metrotitan
    Black Zarak
    Elephorca
    Spanner

+1 for Spanner! Not that I think we’ll ever get one, but I’ve wanted a Space Bridge/Spanner figure for thirty years!

In the more likely column, Monstructor or Landcross. Monstructor doesn’t need to be exactly Titan sized but I want the Pretender shells as well. I want Landcross to be a Titan so that every member can manage to pull off every combination that the originals could.

    Repaints?

Metrotitan (very niche) or Black Zarak?. Grandmaximus already done so maybe Diaclone color Devastar?

Tidal Wave triple-changer with jet and whale alt-mode would be fascinating.

I don't care which character they use as long as every titan they make going forward has a base mode with connector ramps and tons of pegs for titan masters. The city must grow!

Somebody suggested Bumblebee in the other thread. As a joke.

But with 6 inch Joes about to be announced, I can see an argument for taking a few years off from Titans in Generations and diverting the efforts to 1:12 scale Transformers to partner with Joes (and Power Rangers and Marvel Legends).

I know people would fear it’s permanent but if Hasbro basically said, “No. We’re coming back with Metroplex in 2024. We just want to focus the Titan scale TFs on 1:12 for 3 years.”

My take on the idea is, make a separate crossover line for such figures. I'd hate if Hasbro would spend valuable release slots to make toys that are meant to be paired with other toylines I have no interest in.

My first choice for a new Titan is Tidal Wave.

But as for an out of left field suggestion, I'd love to see the Ark come into play. I'd be fine with just a playset for Generations figures, but I wouldn't mind seeing it with an original robot mode. I know this is pretty much animated Omega Supreme but I don't know if they would do another Titan Class mold for a character that just saw a Titan Class release just a year or two before.

So glad so many people are saying Tidal Wave. It feels great and no matter if it's Armada or Beast Wars Tidal Wave, I'll be happy.

    Want:
Devastator (G2 yellow or orange, Diaclone, Shattered Glass [Aerialbot colors])

Metrotitan (with Metrodash, Metroshot [Siege Sixgun], Metrotank [Siege Brunt], and a new mold for Metrobomb)

    Black Zarak
    Brave Maximus
    Omega Sentinel
Mechabot-1 (Toybox Omega Supreme in black and red)

I think Broadside and Tidal Wave would scale better as Commanders,IMO.

Left field suggestion - how about a totally new citybot we've never heard of with a unique new design?

I’d be down for that. Just make sure it fits the ‘G1 aesthetic.’ Make some new, retroactive, character. Some ‘lost character.’ Someone that is opposite of Omega Supreme.
