I like how you think!
Well I’ve long wanted to convert a TR Fort Max into Vigilem. The big guy has quite the personality (by Titan standards) and left an impression as the “final boss” of Windblade’s series. Plus I like to think of gimmick integration and finding a use for the Prime-cores is always a bonus.
Would also be cool if we get a new Windblade fig (fingers crossed!) To have a 'Vigilem Windblade' Selects figure from the mental battle too, the one in greens and teals with a monstrous head.
Let's get uhhhhh...... Metrotitan. They're missing out on an easy repaint opportunity.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a Windblade in “Chaos” the rumoured name of WFC3 as a companion to a new Metroplex. Potential repaints include Vigilem, Maxima and Slipstream
Plus Hasbro has shown a willingness to still homage IDW 1 so it’s possible.
Where does that "Chaos" rumor come from? Has it appeared in listings or something like that?
AFAIK it's just one of several suggested names from the Speculation thread, based on the first two parts being single word titles (technically subtitles I guess of War for Cybertron: ) and the prediction that part 3 will be The Movie/Season 3 and/or it lining up with the release of the Haslab Unicron aka the Chaos-Bringer.
It sounds badass and personally I think the threat of Unicron will the main theme of the story, uniting Autobot and Decepticon.
Cool as it would be to see a lot of the IDW 1.0 Titans get figures in the future I'm not sure with Hasbro's hardcore Sunbow G1 direction will allow that given that those titans were never part of the Sunbow G1 universe despite IDW 1.0 to be basically a modern retelling of G1. Sure we got Rung and a version of Siege Impactor with his IDW head but even then they feel like more like the exceptions rather then the rule. I'll be glad to be proven wrong if they do them but all the same I'm fully expecting Hasbro to stick to only the established Titans shown in the brand's TV history that is if they do plan to expand further into the eras after G1 at all.
Especially since the factories are like churning out 100% now? Thanks to the beer bug.
Indeed, the next Titan we'll likely see is a Metroplex redo and possibly Metrotitan through Takara Selects (possibly MTO to prevent a Grand Max situation)
Yeah and I'm also bracing myself for them to redo Fortress Maximus as well. Sure his TR figure has the same base play pattern a lot of the other Titans have going unlike the original T30 Metroplex which didn't but still given how a lot of people didn't like how his last toy turned out I'm guessing it's a given that Fort Max will come shortly after Metroplex/Metrotitan.
Well for my CHUG Fort Max I’m praying that Fans Toys actually delivers the goods were its their fukhuge Max.
A titan unicron is not likely for the foreseeable future since the haslab one got funded. If anything I'd think that there would have been 2 potential titans for part 3, unicron (in the event haslab failed, would not have been the same figure as the haslab one) to keep up with the story theme and not have to alter it OR a redo of metroplex (something warden has mentioned wanting to do). Given that unicron got funded that removes him from the list of potential part 3 titans
Hb is a business. I doubt they are gonna invest on a fig/character that doesn't have an instant name recall. Who would fit a titan? (Again let us factor the current beer bug environment)?
Black Zarak would be awesome.
Reread my post and you would have your answer, Metroplex is the likliest candidate for the titan in wfc part 3
So you are suggesting Metroplex will be the next Titan? Then who? A new Trypticon, Fortmax etc? The same guys over and over again and again?
I'm thinking there's a possibility there's no new Titan for 2021 and Unicron covers that base. I say that considering that most hardcore collectors already paid 4x the cost of a regular titan and also, the pandemic is affecting finantially a lot of people that may not be completely recovered by next year.
Just something I thought given the circumstances.
The most plausible. If someone would attempt a re-issue it would be Takara. They already released Metroflex twice. Fortmax had Grand rleased in limited qualities too (same with Legends Metro).
No one attempted a Metrotitan yet.
Do you and tigatron2002 need to have a pissing contest in every thread?
