wow thats a really one sided poll lol
Even if it wasn't a scam I still wouldn't support it beause the entire idea of sealing it away is taking MSIB to the next level of snobbery. Though if I had unlimited money I would buy ana AFA graded one I could find and open it in front of the seller if possible. If not possible to do it in person I would tape myself doing it and send them a link to the video.
I like your attitude, but I doubt they would care. They just made a bunch of extra money for nothing.
Screw you AFA.
Aha, that's what they think until the money turns into Wheelie bucks.
This is a fine example of the stupidity of this. For all intent and purposes, that is a sealed Omega Supreme BOX. I"m supposed to drop that kind of cash on something that I will NEVER see if I want to keep the grade. No thanks.
Screw AFA. Every frikkin decade (correct me if I'm wrong), there's always a complex, highly authoritive, "fancy bar coded", greedy assed system that has to take a dump on how an action figure (despite it being mint, opened, MIB, MISB, etc.), it's just the same old, banal system of grading.
So what's the point of labelling even a broken up, dented figure for $100 and it says mint condition. Hell even if the figure's qualities applies to what it is marked as, I still won't go for it.
If AFA was consistent in any fashion in their grading it might not have been so worth less. I have seen them give 80 grades to MISB far superior to another toy they give an 85. I have in my possession two AFA Soundwaves, they are both 80's. One is nearly flawless with some slight corner fluffing thats it, the other is dented, creased, and has a mild flap crease. SAME GRADE. Waste of MONEY!
