I didn't think a square box of clear plastic could look sooooooo delicious. After finally holding, seeing one in person, I'm convinced it's worth $48 to get one. Just the case, not the grading service. What keeps a figure from moving around inside a custom made case? I see pictures of graded boxed Transformers and there is a fair amount of space around box. Do they slide around?
You can save your self some $ and also get cases here: http://www.oscarscases.com/ I'm yet to here a single bad thing about Oscar's Cases.
Thanks. I'll shoot them an email. Look to be about half the cost of AFA. SO. These rails that hold the box into place, could you turn a cased, lets say G1 Shockwave MISB, upside down and it wouldn't move? Here's the deal. I have a set of the four dino tapes. I want to get one case to display/protect all four in. One next to the other. The dimensions of such a case would be 16(L) x 1(W) x 4.5(H).
Yes, assuming AFA fitted the rails right, the Shockwave wouldn't move. Sometimes, though, the fit isn't perfect, and the item will move very slightly.
